Premier Location-The Cozy West Glacier Cabin

  • LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This cabin is located in the heart of West Glacier Village! It sits less than half a mile from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park!!! Just minutes from the train station, restaurants, mercantile, mini golf, 18 hole golf course, hiking, bike riding, shops and whitewater rafting! This cabin is rich with history. This fully remodeled 1940's cabin was originally used for housing during the building of the Hungry Horse Damn, located just down the road!
    There is so much to do and see in the area the adventures are endless. This is a vacation you surly will never forget.

    About the Space:
    The West Glacier Cabin boasts two bedrooms both with beautiful Montana log beds (king and queen) and a large queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It has one bathroom with a deep soaker tub and rainfall shower head for relaxation after a day of hiking and exploring. It also has a cozy reading space near the large front bay window along with a gas fireplace for your spring or fall stay to ensure your cabin stay is a cozy mountain experience. The cabin is located on a quiet street with a large front porch for morning coffee and a private back patio for evening fires and BBQs.

This place provided such a convenient, comfortable, and well-appointed stay. They have thought of everything while equipping this home away from home. Lovely property with everything you need for a wonderful Glacier Park trip! Hiking poles were great to have for the hikes, as was bear spray. (We didn’t use it but liked to have it) Laundry was a huge plus as we got dirty! Fireplace was fabulous after a cold (but fun) river rafting trip. Really enjoyed a bike ride into Apgar and sitting around the fire pit afterwards. Kitchen fully stocked. Space was great, and location was unbeatable. There were even a couple of nice walks right along the river in West Glacier where we saw deer and some beautiful views. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

We feel so thankful to have found this wonderful place for our Glacier vacation! The location really can’t be beat! We loved being able to bike to Apgar village, walk to putt putt and rafting and at least 2 places to eat. Very close to the west entrance but still had some traffic going into the gate but not as bad as others coming from neighboring towns! The hosts were so great to work with. Communication was timely and pleasant. The house is cozy and comfortable; perfect for our family of 3. We weren’t used to sharing a bathroom but often took our showers in the evenings after our hikes and activities so timing worked out better that way. The hosts have included so many special extras to make us feel at home…. Games, books, brochures and maps, phone chargers, night lights, trekking poles, bug spray etc! Kitchen was well-stocked although we didn’t cook. We hope you have as wonderful as a trip as we did!

Convenient and comfortable

A great place! A few minutes from the park and very comfortable beds. Plenty of room to cook and have family over for game nights. Very easy to communicate with the hosts.

Great Property!!

Awesome stay at a great property. The house was totally clean, well equipped and perfectly located. One of the very best VRBO’s we’ve stayed in. As a side note, Belton Chalet was a great place to walk to for a nice dinner.

Property is located super close to the park and walking distance to souvenirs and quick food. Owners were great at communicating during our travels and we would love to come back!
