This charming 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom haven is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a view of the nearby river, creating the perfect backdrop for relaxation. Outside, you’ll find a private firepit, a picnic table, and a gas-powered grill. It's perfect for unwinding under the stars, roasting marshmallows or sharing stories by the crackling flames.
    While the cottage feels wonderfully remote, it’s close to a variety of outdoor adventures and local attractions. Hike scenic trails, kayak or fish in the river, or explore Pleasantville’s quaint town center, brimming with antique shops, farmers’ markets, and cozy eateries. In the winter, the area transforms into a peaceful wonderland, perfect for snowshoeing or enjoying the quiet beauty of the season. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with nature or simply get away from it all, Eagle's Peak Cottage offers the ideal combination of seclusion, comfort, and adventure.
    NOTE: There is a second bedroom in a DETACHED section of the cottage. The bunkhouse is right beside but not attached to the main building (see photos).

This cottage is nicely situated for easy access to the Allegheny National Forest while offering all the amenities of home. I intend to stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

We had such an amazing stay this weekend. From the moment we arrived, everything was welcoming, clean, relaxing, and just overall perfect. The atmosphere was cozy, peaceful, and exactly what we needed for a little getaway.Every detail was well taken care of, and you can really tell they care about giving people a great experience. Definitely one of those places that leaves you already talking about coming back before you even leave. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable stay!

We had a great stay. We were just surprised to see that the second bedroom was outside in the garage. But the kids loved it. Another thing was that the oven was locked and unable to use. We just utilize what we had. Everything was great and thanks again

Eagles Peak was absolutely adorable. We had a great experience. The place was clean, smelled great, and had many good amenities. The bunk house is a converted garage for those with kids, but is very cute! The kitchen has anything you may need. The fireplace was perfect. Everything was amazing!!

Was a great couple months during winter. Had what we needed. Was cozy and the wildlife around was great to watch daily. Would book again. On negative temperature nights it got a little chilly but was sufficient. Driveway during snow was tough but all in all very happy with Eagles Peak Cottage!!

A friend and I needed a quiet getaway and this place was perfect for it. We originally planned to continue hiking some local trails, but were honestly grateful for the unpredictable stormy weather that gave us a great excuse to stay in and enjoy the cottage. We played Sorry!, cooked a few meals, watched a little Netflix and just caught up. Beautiful view, quiet neighborhood and more space than needed- we didn’t need the bunkhouse with just two of us. The A/C units were needed and appreciated and they had everything we needed in the kitchen. We also really liked the signs and pictures that decorated the cottage. If we stayed longer we probably would have enjoyed making a fire or using the grill, but were content with the stove and microwave, lol We even did a load of laundry, which was great with this late spring heat this week! Thank you for a lovely stay at a great price- I’ve already recommended it to family. Also, I had a couple questions during the stay and Amr was quick to respond- much appreciated. Thanks again!

Adorable spacious cabin

Super cute cabin. Everything was clean and inviting. We would 100% stay here again. Great location, spacious indoor and deck with a beautiful view.

A great small cabin to stay at for the price! They have a fully stocked kitchen with pans and dinnerware. Great location, just minutes from the river! This cabin is more secluded than many of the other properties. Also, if you have any questions, the owner is very prompt to answer! Would stay here again next year.

amazing cozy cabin

cabin was very cute and clean and had nice character. hosts were very responsive to my messages. we enjoyed the new AC, grill, and Keurig coffee machine. The surrounding area had great hiking spots. would stay again :)

We had an amazing stay at Eagle's Peak Cottage. My husband and our 2 dogs did a 4 day, 3 night kayaking trip on the Allegheny River. After 2 nights of island camping, this was the perfect place to shower and relax before heading back out dor our final trip. Really close to the boat launch and a restaurant thay serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Really clean and had everything, soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry products, etc. We would love to come back next year!

The cottage was perfect. I was skeptical that the heater was not gonna be enough, but there was extreme, extreme cold weather lower than normal and found blocking the laundry room off with a blanket actually helped. Keep the bedroom and the rest of the house nice and cozy. I absolutely loved my stay there and I would totally recommend it to anyone.!!! very quiet and the deer visit the neighbors house every evening had everything you need in the kitchen and loved that there was a grill on the front porch and I actually used it as well!! five stars from me very fast response time and good communication from the owner or management

This is an excellent cabin with plenty space for a couple. I was concerned it might be cold but it was nice and toasty. The water was hot. Everything was there that was needed to cook. Was able to wash clothes which is a plus. It snowed the first night and there were lots of deer right outside our cabin. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie.

Cute cottage!

This was a very nice cottage , the little signs & pictures throughout were fun to read. There were 2 things that i would like to change if we came back is #1, there were no curtains except for the bathroom and bedroom # 2 we were going to have a fire but the grass was a little too high around the pit!
