Fall colors were beautiful, comfortable cabin not too far from West Jefferson.We were not there for ski season, had to rate it to complete the form. Couldn't skip it.

Great Mountain Getaway

We had a great time staying at Bearadise ! The cabin was exceptional and very clean . The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed . We also enjoyed the fire pit.

This was an awesome property! Just as advertised on booking site. Super private but close enough to enjoy the wonderful town of West Jefferson. Property owners were great to deal with, quick answers to any questions and inquired to make sure everything was perfect upon check in, it already was. Super clean & all necessary items included with stay. Highly recommend this lovely cabin!

Beautiful place!

Just enjoyed a fabulous weekend at this gorgeous property! Very clean, comfortable beds, great communication with owners, and lots of pretty scenery to enjoy. Loved seeing deer. We were lucky to be in this area while all the beautiful fall foliage was on display. Also enjoyed a peaceful hike to cascade falls which was close to this property as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Quiet Getaway

This property is wonderful and private. It’s only a few minutes from downtown West Jefferson, but gives you a place to relax without neighbors. The place is tastefully decorated and comfortable. There’s pretty much everything you need: pots/pans, cooking utensils, coffee maker, washer/dryer, and fire pit. There was even left over firewood to use which was great! We will definitely be back, but I recommend AWD/4x4 even in the warm months

Christmas Tree & S’Mores

Great property. Well equipped cabin and great area to visit. We were only there to get a tree and greenery post-Thanksgiving but would gladly go back if we have a longer time to visit. I felt like AWD or 4WD is a must to get up the road. A rear wheel vehicle would likely be a challenge. We have a 6 year old daughter who enjoyed S’mores by the fire pit as well as playing a game or two from the bin.

Perfect Stay!

My husband and I spent two weeks at Bearadise and couldn't have had a more perfect time. The cabin was welcoming, comfortable, well maintained and immaculately clean. Everything in the home was modern and functioned very well. The island was huge and, even though it was just the two of us, could have seated 6 people. The wi-fi and internet connections were fast and reliable and the smart TV with Roku was appreciated. The deck and windows looked out on a beautiful wide, long-range tree view with gorgeous sunrises. The woods to the side and back of the property were very pretty too. The owners placed rockers, a bench, a swing and a fireplace on the deck which made it easy to sit, relax and take it all in. There was also a fire pit and chairs with the same beautiful view. We enjoyed a night of meteor showers with a very clear, expansive dark sky environment. The walk-up access to the home is easy with only 5 wide steps. It was perfectly situated to explore not only Ashe County, but the neighboring counties as well. The proximity to Jefferson and West Jefferson was perfect. The owners were very nice, truly easy to work with and extremely responsive to any inquiries. We were there during the Christmas holiday and they had placed a sweet tabletop lighted tree in the living room. It made it feel very homey. They also left a fun welcome basket and indoor and outdoor games. We had an overall exceptional experience and would most definitely choose to stay there again.

Great Place

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We loved it and we will be staying again. We love the secluded location and that it's only 10 minutes from West Jefferson. The accommodations were great !

Paradise Found

Bearadise was the exact place that we needed to escape from the daily grind - unplug - and relax. I actually thought this was a newly constructed cabin. Fresh, clean, with all the plusses that were needed. Tv's were there but why watch them when you have nature at its finest. We lived on the front porch - reading or just sitting and soaking in the mountains. We will be back when the pressure of life starts getting a little too close!

great stay!

We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect place to stay. The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable. We loved using the fire pit at night and sitting on the porch in the morning. Great location with easy access to West Jefferson and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Beautiful Mountain Retreat

Fantastic, quiet and secluded cabin in the mountains. No highway or traffic noise, just a couple of owls hooting back and forth. Already looking at dates to book again!

Lovely Hidden Retreat

Overall it was a wonderful stay. They were able to accommodate a 5th member and the owner was super responsive. We would truly visit again whenever we are back in the area.

Quick Mountain Trip

The cabin was perfect for our quick trip to the mountains. It is well maintained and very clean. Depending on which way you turn coming out the drive you can be in West Jefferson or on the Parkway in 10 minutes. Nice property!

Beautiful location, immaculate home

The cabin is in a beautiful location It is extremely clean it looks like a new cabin. We had a nice welcome package of snacks. The cabin had everything you needed if you wanted to cook. The cabin/mountain decor was just perfect. I loved sitting on the porch enjoying a great view of the mountains gas fireplace was wonderful. We enjoyed the corn hole game. We seen deer at dusk in the valley on our drives back to cabin. listening to the birds and the animals scampering in the woods was peaceful. Downtown West Jefferson is a must see such quaint shops. Home slice was a great restaurant authentic NY pizza./ menu. Blowing Rock & Boone so close by. Also a must see. I definitely would return to this beautiful cabin. Erin & Kevin answer any questions I had.. Great hosts thank for sharing your little slice of heaven.

This cabin is absolutely clean (5 star) and very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. After getting home form a nice hiking tour you may relax outside at the fire place our on the rocking chairs. No noise form any traffic just sound of birds. Thanks Erin to let us stay at your nice cabin

Clean and Well Appointed
