The house itself was lovely. Very spacious with interesting art and great views of the trees from the windows. We ate breakfast each morning on the patio gazing at the olive trees and flowers. As a non-European traveler, I and the other American on the trip struggled to sleep on the firm mattresses, and I’d recommend that mattress toppers be placed in the cabinets to be used as needed, since I realize most visitors are accustomed to it. We were mostly able to figure out where things were but some more written instructions would be a great help (including for the clothes washer and about the water heater/breaker box). It took us a while to find the house and thought that a sign pointing the way of where to turn to find the lavender garden house (as many other people have done at the intersection) would help a great deal. The house was in a great location, and we loved spending time in the village as well as several others within an hour’s drive.
