The property could be a 5 star but some items are holding it back.The host was excellent: timely, helpful communication and quick to respond .The house itself is comfortable, spacious and very nicely finished inside, clearly updated in recent years and all the bathrooms were very modern with great showers.The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for an extended stay. A the host was thoughtful enough to have coffee and creamer stocked in the kitchen. Bedrooms have tons of storage and beds and linens were comfortable , although softer pillows would have been appreciated. AC worked VERY well. All in all, the house was a good stay for our family stay.BUT…although the home is very clean, there are some details that need attention (dirty shades and a missing smoke detector in the sun room) and the back yard and pool area were very disappointing. The hot tub and pool were clean and worked well but the pool deck needs a good power wash and some of the furniture needs to go. The grounds in back need to cleaned up of debris and get some TLC. In short, the outside area was not very inviting and didn’t reflect well on the house itself. These are things that could easily be corrected and with the nightly rate , should be! We kept the shades down because the view out back was not a plus.I can recommend this VRBO at the right price but only if the pool area and back yard get the work done that is clearly required.
