“6 people stayed in our group. Disappointing that we were charged £25 per couple for early check-in. Even as it was only 30 minutes before normal check in. Reception was not up to speed with our bookings as we had pre-paid for everything but when we checked out they got mixed up and printed bill for full amount. Until we very politely informed them. Also whilst good range of breakfast delights very slow service”

“Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. “We asked for a late check out and even though the hotel was absolutely empty - (we were the only two people at breakfast in a room that could seat 100) the hotel still denied a late checkout (personally I think 11am checkout is too early) so we were charged an extra £20 for a 12pm checkout. When the room costs £500 per night this is totally outrageous. The hotel was empty so it would have been a nice gesture to offer a 1pm checkout given at most high end hotels 12pm is standard. “Lovely hotel and breakfast was very nice. It was a small room which was to be expected Strangely there was a step up to the bathroom and this had a glow in the dark sign that was annoying at night A few little bits that could have been better. No plug near the desk to make tea had to use bedside table, door stop needed repairing in bathroom. But all minor. The spa was a nice addition. Nice location in Harrogate.”

“The room was nice & clean , a bonus was the air conditioning as it was hot weather . We also ate evening meal there which was ok , breakfast was plentiful with a good choice . We only stayed one night on our way to Scotland & our daughter & family met us there to complete the journey . What was nice was that they were able to park & use the hotel for food / drinks etc . Thankyou we appreciated that 😊”
