Great location and excellent standard of room. Not very noise-proof from the bar across the road - it was loud until late and the early morning deliveries disturbed our sleep. The bathroom door didn't shut. Overall pleasant stay.

North Stainley Village Beside the main road, the village pinfold appears to have been incorporated into the churchyard behind the near wall, the adjacent low building has an 1842 date stone and may have been the original school before the larger building was erected in 1871. The far building was formerly a Methodist Chapel.
