Cozy and Rustic "Bear Themed" Cabin~private pond and 7 miles to YNP entrance!
- PLEASE READ before inquiring! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins. This cozy cabin is our "Bear Themed" cabin. Located just 7.7 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin is nestled in nature on a private 40+ acres. Owner's residence is conveniently nearby and there are 2 more rental cabins nearby as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. There is also a private pond for fishing. This cabin also makes a great choice for snowmobilers in the winter as main trails are located right out the front of property and we have more than enough space to park your trailers.

The rodeo starts at 7:00pm and is over around 9:00pm. You can buy your tickets online at yellowstonerodeo.com or you can buy them at the gate the night of. Horse trail rides are available, excluding Sundays while the rodeo is in operation. Horse rides sell out quickly so I would suggest booking them in advance at the website listed above.

This cabin is amazing! Outside and inside, it is beautifully built, furnished, and decorated.The cabin was also impressively clean.The fireplace was great for those chilly mornings and evenings!The hosts were very easy to reach, and responded to messages very quickly.It was a great place to call "home" during our time visiting Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons.We highly recommend!

Everything was exceptional! Such a cutely decorated and well equipped cabin close to West Yellowstone. Thoughtful and responsive hosts on site. View of mountains from entrance of property was stunning (especially at sunset one day).

Awesome Cabin short drive to Yellowstone

Wonderful getaway!
This was the perfect getaway for us! Great location , exactly what we were looking for! Far enough away but still close enough to easily see the park and enjoy West Yellowstone. The host were so nice prior to our visit and answered all our questions. Honestly, a wonderful getaway!

Wonderful cabin!
My husband and I stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks and we absolutely loved it. Caleb and Tarah were so kind and welcoming, the cabin was spotless, and the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the West Yellowstone area!

Clean AND cable tv and WiFi!
Perfect little cabin! ALL the amenities needed and always an added bonus to have cable tv and WiFi!! Only 5 minutes from West Yellowstone with all the places to eat! Loved it!

Simply Perfect!
This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of four when visiting Yellowstone. The location was convenient for entering the West entrance and we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fishing in the private pond was an added bonus for our guys!

NICE BUT CRAMPPED WITH 3 PEOPLE
The stay was really excellent but with 3 people and all our snowmobile gear it was a bit cramped. It would be nice for 1 couple.

Yellowstone experience
The cabin was clean, private and easy to access. The Rodeo on the property was great and so convenient. Everything in the cabin seemed new from appliances to carpet. We would love to stay again.

Perfect Cabin & Location Get-A-Way
Loved the Bear Cabin, perfect size, warm homey feeling,very clean and welcoming. It’s a great location to town and to the W Entrance to Yellowstone.
The owners are onsite and there anytime if you needed anything. We highly recommend this cabin for your stay. We’ll be back!!!

Home away from home!
Absolutely loved our time at Yellowstone National Park and the cabin was perfect! So beautifully built and decorated and homey. They provide everything you need for a comfortable stay and Tarah was fantastic at communicating back and forth with me prior to our stay. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Breathtaking Getaway
Absolutely gorgeous location and perfect cabin getaway. Located about 7 minutes west of West Yellowstone, it offers easy access to all of the shops/restaurants/museums, and the Yellowstone West Entrance. Only a 7 minute drive, after the daily fun, to quiet and solitude. We've never slept in such peace and quiet! Also loved visiting with their horses when we would come and go!

Perfect Cabin in a Perfect Location
Caleb and Tarah are excellent hosts and will stay there again on our next visit. It was so nice to come "home" from cold weather excursions to our cozy little cabin. The cabin is a perfect distance from West Yellowstone.It is beautifully decorated with cabin charm and has all the home essentials for a 3 - 5 night stay. I loved that the fireplace was always on. The bathroom and bedroom had their own heating vents, which worked wonderfully. We highly recommend staying at he Cozy Cabin.

Perfect stay when visiting Yellowstone
We enjoyed our stay when visiting Yellowstone with our grandchildren. They really loved the cabin and being able to walk to the rodeo every night. We also took a horseback ride right from the property. Kitchen was perfect for cooking meals. Thank you!
