“This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. “Property was recently remodeled and was comfortable. Very good food at the pub located on the property. Access to the bathroom was through the master bedroom which was odd.”

“The kitchen faucet was hard to turn off at times. Not sure if it needs a bit of tweaking. Also, we didn't put the rubbish in the outside bin since it was already overflowing. We did put the food waste & the recyclables in the bins.”
