“Staying at the Independence was a great experience. It’s a lovely hotel with a great staff. And the area can’t be beat. You can walk downtown, to the river, to the park. The rooftop patio is beautiful and my kids and I saw the osprey nest AND got to watch the osprey leaving the nest and returning. Shout out to Kathryn (the one who spells her name with a k and y) at the front desk. She had infinite patience with me and with my children! ”
