“Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays.”

“Everything was ok but the wonderful coffee machine and tea making facilities were useless because there was no cups! Also because the accommodation has no reception there was nobody around to help us. So three stars only .”
