The Wildflower Cottage at Mountain Paradise

  • Cottage is located in the Mountains of WV. Wildlife viewing at it's best. Open living and dining area with 2 bedrooms and one bath. HOT TUB!!! Just minutes from the Buckhannon River. Pond on property. Cottage is located 10 miles out the Alexander-Helvetia Road in French Creek.

    The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you would have in the comfort of your home. There is a starter of garbage bags and dishwasher tabs provided.

    We are pet friendly (dogs only, fee required). Must clean up after your pet inside and out. Excessive pet hair on furniture or pet excrement (especially inside) may result in forfeiture of all or part of security deposit.

    -BUCKHANNON - 22 miles, 40 minute drive - This is town where you will find Walmart, Kroger, Gas, Cinema, Restaurants, Hospital, etc.
    -ROCK CAVE - 10 miles, 21 minute drive - IGA, Family Dollar, Hardware, Clinic, Pharmacy
    -WEST VIRGINIA WILDLIFE CENTER - 10 miles, 16 minute drive - Giftshop, Hiking Trails, Wildlife Center.
    -JAMES W CURRY LIBRARY AND PARK - 3 miles, 10 minute drive - Library, Park, Pavilion, Playgrounds.
    -HELVETIA - 9 miles, 18 minute drive - Historic Swiss village, Home of the Hutte Restaurant.
    -PICKENS - 13 miles, 28 minute drive - Home of the Maple Syrup Festival.
    -STONEWALL JACKSON LAKE - 30 miles, 45 minute drive.

had a great stay. The cabin is perfectly situated in the "woods" with a private pond and hot tub. Cabin was extremely clean.The host was great. Would come again.

The cottage was clean and well appointed. The hoast was friendly and responded quickly to any concerns. Our boys loved sledding down the hill and we all enjoyed the hot tub. I can't wait to take the family back again next year.

A great place to take your family

We were looking for a quiet cabin in the mountains for our family to make memories and this was the perfect place to do that! We enjoyed the very clean cabin, fire pit, and grounds.

34th Birthday!

The cabin and property was absolutely beautiful! I booked this with my girlfriend and a couple friends for her 34th birthday. We relaxed by the fire, cooked some good meals and enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely be back again!
