We loved being on the beach and all the windows!Had a great dining room with plenty of room.I feel like it needed more seating for families in the living/rec room.Our host was always on top of everything,messaged back very quickly and very friendly.Look forward to coming back next year.We went for my 50 th birthday and had an excellent time

The house is a really fun maze-like layout. Great place for hide and seek! :) The view was amazing, access to the beach was easy and watching the sunsets from the dining room was just amazing.Communication with Deepa was flexible and very detailed. We had a lovely time and are already talking about when we will come back to the same place for another stay!

Great location!

Had a wonderful time over the week at the beach. Couldnt ask for a better location. There are neighbors, but hardly noticeable. Kitchen items were minimal, but we made it work. We would absolutely stay again.

Westport 2025

What a great home, great location, ample room, with million dollar views. Or family comes to Westport for the past couple memorial day weekends and love everything about it, from the boardwalk to the fishing charter we always take, All Rivers Saltwater charter. Hope to stay with this location for a home next year.

Disapointed

This home was disappointing on many levels. The layout is crazy with many stairs going to many rooms. The listing showed a hot tub that was nonexistent and what appears to be easy access to the beach is in fact a 6 ft drop that you need a ladder from the garage for. There is only one TV so adults and children need to share and the furniture is sparse. The view was the only great part.

Beautiful location VERY close to the water

Extended family shared the house. Stormy weather kept us inside, and the water/surf was very, very close to the house! Great view, plenty of inside space, lots of stairs to move between rooms. Fireplace couldn't be turned up beyond what seemed like 'pilot-light mode', and host/owner did not reply to my request for further instructions. Kitchen was big and comfy, with cookware and eating utensils needed. Lots of toys for kiddo's.

Fun beach house

The house is steps away from an endless, beautiful beach. Our group of young adults enjoyed the maze like architecture and separate TV room. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms adequate. The house could use updated linens, dishes, and repaired blinds. Bring all of your own cooking ingredients, as there are few available. Overall , we enjoyed our time at The Lookout.

Nice place. Plenty of room for our group of seven. Great ocean view. Long quiet beach. Only down side was 4 foot high bank that made it difficult for a person with limited mobility to get down to the beach

Beautiful home and location

The good; absolutely beautiful view of the ocean from every room. The house is very spacious. I appreciate that even though you could sleep more people in this house, the host does not cram it full like a lot of other rentals. The house was very clean which is difficult to achieve being right on the beach. The bad; to access the beach you need a ladder. There is a 4 foot embankment. As of this post, the pictures on-line show the hot tub inside. It is outside. No food is allowed in carpeted areas which is where the only tv is, so when we gathered to watch a movie we couldn't bring snacks. None of these were deal breakers for us, just some things that you might want to know ahead of time. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was great, the views were awsome. We enjoyed the beach and with a minor issue with the stove and the owner was right over to take care of it. Couldnt have asked for better! Would recommend this property.

Relaxing Stay Right on the Ocean's doorstep.

Great experience at this quiet oceanfront property in Westport. Beautiful, well-kept home with excellent views of the ocean. Property manager was very responsive, easy check-in and check-out process. Easy access to the beach and just a short drive to the center of town. Looking forward to our next stay at this location!

Enjoyed our stay here with another family and plenty of room for everyone with fun toys around for the kids. Can’t beat the views and the location, house could use some TLC and a better cleaning, hot tub situation is a little strange being indoors so we didn’t use it much. Overall a good stay.

nice quite getaway

My family was looking for a quiet place to read a book and stare at the ocean for a few days and this place fit the bill. a few minor maintenance issues with the house (very normal stuff) while were were there and the owner and maintenance man were on the spot to fix them and get us back to ocean gazing. nice, fully prepped kitchen so we could buy groceries and cook at home. tastefully decorated. I'd rent again, thank you!

A beautiful home on a peaceful stretch of beach in Wesport

First off, this home is gorgeous. There is a bright an airy upper floor that faces the ocean with a kitchen, breakfast nook, and living area and a separate dining room and deck. There is also an enormous rec-room/den which has tons of apps like Netflix and Disney+ pre-set-up on the TV which our kid loved to keep her entertained while we prepped dinner. The house has an easy to clean, but small, electric grill, two ovens and lots of great cookware. The Hot tub is up a spiral staircase from the main bedroom and has a door that opens out to the ocean. I used it everyday and was in great condition. The house is WAY bigger than you think it is from the listing with a maze of secret passageways and hidden rooms that our daughter loved exploring when we first checked in. Tons of space for a two families to share if needed. The only downside was the centipedes. The first floor has centipedes everywhere. The owners request that you don't bring your shoes upstairs but the centipedes would crawl into our shoes (gross) and have to be emptied out. We ended up keeping all of our shoes on the first floor landing.
