“excellent property, great value, good location. very clean. Only 1 minor issue and a couple of siggestions: we seen too many carpenter ants(large black) throughout the house. Suggestions: extra pillows and blankets and it might be helpful to have at least 1 grab bar in the tub/shower. We would stay here again when in the area. ”

“Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt in dem kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichen Haus. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Gegend sehr ruhig, sodass wir immer entspannt schlafen konnten. Den Kindern hat insbesondere der Keller mit dem Tischkicker gefallen. Die Lage war perfekt, um alle Highlights in Connecticut in kurzer Zeit erreichen zu können. Absolut empfehlenswert.”

“This place was perfect. Easy walking distance to nearby restaurants, movie theaters, groceries, etc. in downtown West Hartford. The place had everything you could think of, from kitchen utensils, kitchen basics (oil, salt/pepper, coffee, etc.), even some nice touches like charger plugs on every nightstand. Just a real easy and pleasurable experience. If I could buy this house, I would.”

“We visited over a holiday weekend. The house is clean and a good size for the 3 adults in our group and our dog. It is in walking distance to several stores and a park. We would stay again if we were in the area. ”

“The cottage is everything one could need or want when wanting to enjoy quiet surrounded by nature. The hosts really set it up with all one needs to feel like they are home away from home. They communicated well and made sure we knew we could reach out to them for any needs. I left out a star due to water issues which has nothing to do with the host but location I’m sure. We had to keep waiting for it to be available for showers and with teens the complaints must be heard and thus that should be...

“Absolutely perfect. We saw bald eagles, turtles, water snakes, fish jumping out of the water, birds catching their dinner, a comet and its’ following meteor shower, and so much more! The beach area is a slice of paradise. I never book the same vacation twice, but east Haddam showed my family so much beauty- both in nature and in people- and Ann’s perfectly outfitted home was exactly the escape from reality my soul needed. ”
