The interior of the house was really clean and set up very nicely, the kitchen was very organized and well put together, and the living room was comfy and cozy.

Check in process was very smooth. The property is spacious and the lake access is great. The kitchen was also well stocked with pots and dishes and even had some spices and essentials.

Quick Stay

We only stayed 2 nights but it is a beautiful location off the beaten path and it is as advertised. Very well maintained. Property managers responded very quickly to any questions and also let us know we could check in a few hours early. As they noted, Verizon had zero service but had no issues with wifi. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Lake Retreat

This home was the perfect lake getaway for our family. The home was clean, well-maintained and just the right size for our family. We used the provided kayaks to explore the lake. The grill came in handy for dinner and the fire pit was perfect for roasting s'mores. Two convenience markets are close by and the town is a short drive to mini-golf, restaurants and sightseeing adventures. We were only there for 2 nights but our family could easily spend a week. If you're looking for a quiet getaway to recharge but also be able to access creature comforts, this is the place for you. My only feedback would be that the directions were a little confusing when finding the house. The gas station name changed (from Holliday to Circle K) and the turn off for the home is about 2 miles past the first convenience market. Overall, we had a great time. Looking forward to planning our next trip there!

Peaceful weekend

This was a perfect spot to get away for a quiet and relaxing weekend. It is close enough to Munising to enjoy hikes and the beauty of God, but also nice to just stay at the VRBO, fish and relax. Place was very clean, included all the needed amenities and bonus that we could bring out dog!

Pre Summer Getaway...

Overall, everything was nice..A few more 🐜 & insects, than we have dealt with previously but given this time of year, kinda expected. Still a nice get away...The only real quam was our first night there. The adjacent property to our right was full of young people camping in tents, with a generator and motor bikes. However, they left Memorial day...Thank goodness.

Fun in the UP

We enjoyed Miners Falls, Castle and Beach, Kitchitikipi and Fayette. Lots of places to visit without having to drive very far! I would recommend adding to your listing that you have a duel Keurig, that brews a pot and can use k-cups and also a hairdryer 😉 I would also recommend adding that there are two general stores near the home. One is closed in the office season but the other is open and they were very friendly and had a great selection and they have pizza! It was a great experience! Thank you for the lovely time!

Relaxing and beautiful property

Masters Retreat is a perfect location for anyone visiting Pictured Rocks or looking for a peaceful getaway in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. My first impression of the property was how clean it was. It is well equipped and stocked with everything you may need - you really only need to arrive with food and clothes. We really enjoyed the fire pit and kayaks (available to use along with life jackets!). I hope to visit again to enjoy the beauty and comfort that Masters Retreat offers.

Country quiet and serene

The property is well kept with all the needs. It is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and nice. The property is a 15 minute drive from Munising. You have to get off the main road onto a gravel road and drive another minute on what seems very remote location. But when you get there the location and openness of the property is very nice. There are other properties on the lake so you don’t feel alone. The rooms are clean and well taken care of. The view from the balcony on to the lake is divine.

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed for 4 days with our 4 teenage kids and our dog. It was sooo nice! Comfortable, cozy, and luxurious in the best way. The lake was super clean and nice. Everything we needed for our stay was there. We will definitely be back! We loved it!

Perfect setting.

This was a lovely space perfect for our older kids family. Loved the 3 bedrooms with queen beds. The living space and kitchen were all that we needed. We enjoyed the dock and the use of the kayaks and row boat. A very pretty place on a quiet lake with lots of wildlife. Close enough to Munising for groceries and restaurants and all of the Pictured Rock area. Thank you for a lovely stay.
