“The marketing information visible on website is not accurate at all. Upon our arrival in Franskraal it became immediately obvious so we spoke to the host and we agreed that there would be no cost to us if we decided to leave. We left within an hour feeling very disappointed”

“Good spot for an overnight stay or if you don’t really need to prepare meals. Reason being, that there is no oven and the BBQ area is situated in the centre of other u it’s, so no privacy for anyone and impractical. Close enough to the seaside that you can walk, great fynbos area in front of unit. Very clean and a comfortable bed. Strong and hot water in shower. ”

Having travelled South Africa for many years and staying in numerous B&B’s I can confidently say that Theebos is my best ever experience. This is an ‘upscale’ property that is worthy of a much higher price. Without over elaborating, it would be simpler to just say FAULTLESS ”

“Nobody at property upon arrival and no emailed instructions on how to enter property. Ended up having to scramble for last minute accommodation from a friendly local at nearby restaurant.”

“1 nuit où finalement on serait resté bien un peu plus, tant l'appartement est agréable. Accès direct depuis le garage personnel pour y mettre son véhicule. Tout le confort est présent avec un très grand lit très confortable. Et que dire de la vue depuis la chambre, le séjour ou la terrasse. On se réveille en votant les dauphins dans la baie. Seul petit bémol, pas évident à trouver.”

“Apart from the room was very noisy due to the wind rattling doors and windows. the main problem was that we were asked to pay for the accommodation that we had already paid to Expedia. To clear the problem we had to phone internationally to our card provider to confirm the payment was made and then to Expedia to check to see if they had paid the guest house - they had. It cost about R250.00 in international telephone calls the guest house should have made not the guest. I requested that...
