“We stayed 3 nights in the Grootbos and spent an unforgettable time there. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The walks and the safari drive with the guide Tiaan were fantastic. Our cottage ( Nr.24 ) was great. The food was delicious. We hope really to come back soon. A big thank to the whole Grootbos Team for the wonderful stay.”

The owner is also very welcoming making sure there is enough wood and making sure our stay was amazing. The Hot tub is amazing and overlooks the forest. So cosy and relaxing. Its also only 1.30min from Cape Town.”

“Arrived in a rush to get the key & left for an event. Clean room and nice to find a welcome note, even after a late booking. Cabins are not very soundproof, which is understandable - however when neighbouring guests are having loud conversations at 3am, it is not ideal. Floors are also very cold, perhaps more mats can be provided.”
