  • Situated in the Upper Village, the Glacier Lodge is the BEST facility in Whistler. This amazing, fully renovated (2019) ground floor 1BR sleeps 4 people comfortably with a Queen sized sofa-bed and is within walking distance to the new Blackcomb Excalibur Gondola, restaurants, cafes and more

    PLEASE NOTE THE HOT TUB AND POOL ARE CLOSED UNTIL FALL 2026

    Lost Lake is available as an alternative summer amenity. It offers swimming, paddling, and a beach area, and is approximately a 15-minute walk via trails from the property.

    Portobello Restaurant, Fitzsimmons Pub, Legs Diamond Restaurant, a liquor store, a grocery store, and Fairmont Hotel. 10 Min walk to Whistler Village and Olympic Plaza!

    SKI AND BIKE STORAGE
    Wind down after a long day skiing or biking at our home. Curl up with some hot chocolate by the fireplace after checking in your skis or bike in the free, secure storage room by the front desk.

    SKI RENTAL
    Ski Rental is super easy with a great local store located within the Glacier Lodge!

    LAUNDRY
    There are laundry facilities in the building for a small fee. We provide laundry detergent

    GYM
    There is a gym in the building for your use- stay fit while on vacation.

    PARKING
    Parking is $25 for 24 hours and is underground/secure. You will get a code for when you check in with the front desk for the garage gate.
    The parking gate is 6`8` in height.

    OUTDOOR HEATED POOL AND HOT TUBS
    The Courtyard area—including the pool and hot tubs—will be closed from June 9, 2025, through late fall 2026 due to a mandatory building-wide project.


    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
    Guests will have access to the lobby, gym, laundry room, heated pool, 2 hot tubs, ski and bike storage, secure parking garage, and their own private, suite.

    We will be available by text, email, or phone call 24/7. If you need something in person, of course, we can help as well; but we like to give our guests space while on vacation.

    Whistler Upper Village offers a secluded alpine setting that is just steps from the excitement, hustle, and bustle of Whistler Village. This great location for a Whistler vacation offers the best of both worlds. The Upper Village is a family-friendly area complete with its base lodge, ticket office, shops, kids center and ski rental. Just a short, ten-minute stroll from the busy Whistler Village, the Upper Village is a charming area filled with many delicious and popular Whistler restaurants and fantastic shops and boutiques that you can`t find anywhere else in town

    During the summer months, Whistler Upper Village is home to the Adventure Zone, where families can go horseback riding, enjoy a round of mini golf, or fly through the air on a trapeze. The Upper Village is also just minutes away from the Chateau Whistler Golf Course

    With the perfect blend of alpine adventure and quaint village life, the Upper Village offers lovely and affordable vacation rentals in Whistler that allow you to stay, play, dine, and relax in the mountains.

    You do not need a car to stay in this location in Whistler. You can walk anywhere! You can also use the bus system to get around which is located a 5-minute walk from the home. If you do have a car, you can park in the secure underground garage with coded access or message Alisha /Kerry (your hosts) for alternative parking options.

    OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

    Important note:

    🔹 Pool & Hot Tub Closure
    The Courtyard area—including the pool and hot tubs—will be closed from June 9, 2025, through late fall 2026 due to a mandatory building-wide project.

    🔹 Construction Noise
    There will be intermittent louder construction activities may occur 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (pipe cutting, slab coring, rebar delivery).
    No work will take place on weekends.
    Tent lighting may be on until 8:00 PM during workdays.

    🔹 Patio Closures
    All patios are currently closed and will remain inaccessible until further notice.

    Propane tanks may run 24/7 (can be turned off overnight depending on temperature).

    Waterproofing work may produce strong odors temporarily.

    PLEASE NOTE: There will be no construction on weekends.

    Lost Lake is available as an alternative summer amenity. It offers swimming, paddling, and a beach area, and is approximately a 15-minute walk via trails from the property.

    For stays of 14 days or more, one mandatory mid-stay clean will be scheduled and charged at the same rate as the check-out cleaning fee.

    This entire property is NON SMOKING.

    We provide a complimentary starter set of basic toiletries & coffee/tea. Guests will need to purchase or bring their own if they need more than what`s supplied.

    If amenities like the pool, hot tub, sauna, or ski-in/ski-out access aren`t available during your stay due to circumstances beyond our control (such as but not limited to repair, maintenance and weather conditions), we cannot be held responsible.

Nicely remodeled in a great location

We loved staying on Blackcomb. The place was clean and nicely remodeled (especially the kitchen), plus well stocked for cooking. It was a quick walk or bike ride to Whistler Village, and the paths near the river were just a couple of minutes away.

Great place and hosts amazing

Just want we needed. Kids loved the small wade pool. Very close to Walmart and all the parks. Traffic heavy at times but still very close. Resort pool and water park were fun. We would stay here again.

Fantastic location and beautiful apartment

Couldn’t be happier with the beautiful property itself and the location. Located right next to the Fairmont on Blackcomb and only a short walk to the Whistler side. A great mini market right across the street, and multiple on resort food options all within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. As an FYI, Glacier Lodge is not air conditioned, but it is cool enough at night that it stays very comfortable with only fans on and windows open during the day.

PERFECT!!

Location, location, location!! If you ski, stay here. Two minutes to the Blackcomb gondola. Ski storage on-site. Great food across the street. LOVED it here. Best stocked VRBO kitchen I've been to. Will stay again without question. No idea what the negative reviews are about. Everything was perfect. It's even better in person.

Exceptional pet friendly rental

We had a really nice stay in 129 Glacier Lodge. Seldom would we rate with5 stars but this place deserves it . Only thing we didn’t like is that we can’t satay longer! Excellent location in Upper Village everything within short walking distance. Suite was clean , comfortable and extremely well equipped. Our dog was absolutely at home here too. In Whistler, this property would be hard to beat and recommend it for anyone . Thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful vacation home and to Nestaide management. Nestaide was very responsive to any enquiry on email with minutes . Front desk was great too.

Excellent Whistler Condo Rental

This is a fantastic property to rent with a friend or family. It’s centrally located, the pool and fitness Centre are really great and the suite itself it bright, modern and very clean. All the amenities you need to stay in and cook, watch Netflix, or just relax. The front desk staff are helpful and property manager checked in with us a few times to ensure all was good with our stay.

Beautifully renovated retreat

This newly renovated condo was such a pleasure to stay in for the five nights we were there. We had patio access to the pool, which was very convenient and the unit has lots of natural sunlight. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in. Also, Glacier Lodge is situated in a great location, and is a short walk to the lower village, while also being a very quiet unit in the evening.

Damage deposit

I am a tad confused as I was charged for the damage deposit and not really clear as to when and how it is reimbursed so I will have to look into that, otherwise it was all good, many thanks.

I love Glacier Lodge

I love Glacier Lodge!!!! Literally the perfect location for Blackcomb - even better than the Four Seasons. Super cute, comfy and cozy condo. Really clean, had everything you could need - coffee, etc etc - fully stocked - loved that. They have a seamless check in process - you get your own code for the door, personal to your stay - super secure. Blackcomb Gondola is literally steps away - it was SO great, especially walking in my boots, carrying skis etc. Skiing was great, snow conditions were very good. We used the hot tub which was directly outside our patio door every single night! My legs! OOOf! It was a godsend after a day on the hill. It's about a 10 minute walk to the village - super easy, on a big walking path off the road. Mostly we rolled down to Fitzsimmans Pub, right in the building and it was actually really good! Beer, food, met some locals. Glacier Lodge seems to have a lot of local owners in the building. Makes sense because the location really is the best on Blackcomb. Thanks to Alisha for a great stay!
