Whistler - The Aspens 123

  • Ideally located in the quiet Upper Village Benchlands of Whistler, this modern condo offers a fantastic ski-in/out location on the slopes of Blackcomb Mountain. Relax after a day of enjoying all that Whistler has to offer on the plush sofa in front of the fire or take a nice soak in one of the three communal hot tubs. Come summer, the outdoor heated swimming pool will be just the place to lounge and enjoy the sun. When everyone returns to home base, the full kitchen, dining area, and fireplace will be the best combination to thaw and reminisce with your loved ones. Not to mention, the condo's free WiFi and TV will provide an abundance of entertainment as the stars come out! Sitting mere minutes from Blackcomb Gondola, this condo will be a skier's paradise with easy access to the wonderful trails of Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains! For a bit of fun away from the mountain, head over to the Upper Village area and grab a bite to eat at one of the local restaurants, window shop in various boutiques, or stop into a pub for an evening drink with loved ones. Don't worry about driving in the snow, as you will have access to the complimentary city bus #5 that will bring you right to the base of each mountain, and back again. Come summer, golf to your heart's content at one of the stunning courses nearby, or hike days away on mountain trails.
    Renovations and closures - Important:
    The pool and one hot tub will be closed for maintenance from Monday, June 1st to Friday, June 5th.
    The lobby, public washrooms and gym floors will be worked on from Wednesday, May 27th to Thursday, June 4th. Smells and noise are to be expected. The Gym area will be closed during this time.

    Exterior Maintenance:
    Please note there will be a noise and smells associated with the below projects that will affect the surrounding units.
    Starting Monday May 11 for 4 weeks. At the far end of the property close to the parking entrance and Spearhead Drive. Foundation wall waterproofing, sewer line repairs , repairs to canopy roof wall.
    The following decks will be worked on starting June 15 for four weeks.
    All units located in the North Wing, The Aspens entry loop area, for all 4 floors will be painted.
    Window Cleaning of the exterior windows will be taking place around mid July for one week.

Great Ski in/out location in Blackcomb Village

Easy to locate, friendly staff, easy to get around. The in-building ski shop is a nice perk too.

amazing long weekend

We loved staying here, everything went very smooth with check in and out. Loved how well kept the pool and lobby were. Despite it being a busy weekend in Whistler the place wasnt overly crowded.. could always get a seat at the pool. Highly recommend. Kids loved it here!

Peace and quiet

We often stay in the Upper Village for the convenience of ski in/out access but also because it is much quieter than the main village. The unit was as advertised with a well appointed kitchen, comfy furniture, and everything was very clean. A couple other reviews mentioned a soft mattress and we would concur that it could use a refresh at some point. The property has a well maintained hot tub/pool area, and grips to laundry should you need it. The ski valet is a nice feature. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Clean and quiet

Located 5 min drive from the Village towards Blackcomb mtn. Very clean and has all supplies for cooking. Bed is very soft so the sofa bed is better for bad backs. Communication not great. Asked for early check-in with no response until check-in time and then indundated with emails and texts for check-in. This property has no check-in and 4pm in too late.

Great location, clean condo.

Location is great. You can ski out to the Blackcomb Gondola and ski back to the complex. If you don't want to ski the bottom of the mountain, you can take the gondola down and then either hike up a bit or take Magic chair. The unit was clean and ready for us. Everything was in place and worked fine. There was enough storage for 3 of us. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Checkin and checkout was a breeze. A few small issues: The condo is showing its age. The closet doors in the bedroom are sticking and require careful handling to open/close. Window heating unit in the bedroom is too noisy to leave for the night. Fortunately it was reasonably warm outside (~0C/32F) at night, so we could leave it off. A week before out trip there was -15C in the village. Other units we stayed had electric heating near the floor which is silent.

Great ski weekend

We stayed here for a long weekend of skiing. Fantastic location for ski in and out, easy 10 min walk into the village. Unit has upgraded appliances in a very well stocked kitchen. Furniture was very comfortable, 2 large TVs, good closet and bedroom storage and a nice deck looking out into the trees. We would absolutely stay here again.

Close and comfortable

Our ground floor apartment of Aspens 123 was perfect for a short break in Whistler Blackcomb. The main bed was soft and very comfortable, and my son reports the fold out as “okay”. We had everything we needed in the apartment (the only think lacking was a grater). The view from the room is out to snow covered trees, so it feels cozy and private. The overall amenities were great, with a heated pool and three hot tubs. The gym had a spin bike and 3 cross trainers. Staff were courteous and helpful. The Blackcomb gondola is a short ski of about 100m down the hill, and you can ski back in for lunch or at the end of the day. The valet is great, we noticed we never had to wait when we were going out at 0830, but if you went out after 0900 there was a short queue. There is limited grocery shopping in Blackcomb village, so I’d recommend ordering a deliver from Nesters.

Aspens #123

We stayed for two nights and this unit worked well for us. It has a full kitchen and a super comfortable bed. It’s within walking distance to the village if you’re okay with a bit of a hill. There are three hot tubs and a pool.

Always like the Aspens

This is one of our favorite spots in Whistler. The unit met our needs. Like all Aspens units, it's on the small side. Convenient location on the first floor but view is just the forest - I prefer the courtyard or ski trail. Kitchen had what we needed for takeout meals. A few more dishes and silverware would be good. Only complaint is that communication from Vacasa was abysmal. I sent emails on three different occasions and none was answered. Fortunately the front desk assists with maintenance and other needs.

True ski in, ski out

Easy and quiet. Ski concierge was great! Pool and tub were clean. Great location to access the Village by foot and Blackcomb by ski. Of special note- this property does not have washer/dryers in the units. Some racks and hooks would be an added bonus with all of the wet gear. 2 massive TV's and lots of viewing options were great and well placed. Kirchen is well appointed and functional.

Non pet friendly which is very hard to find in whistler. I have asthma and am allergic to dogs & cats. Almost every place in whistler allows pets. some rooms in this hotel allow pets but not this suite thankfully. note air conditioning is only in the bedroom and is a bit noisy.. nice balcony looking into forest..

Great Suite

Nice furniture and comfy bed (although maybe a little too soft), everything you need. Big TV with netflix etc, TV in bedroom was bonus as well. 1st floor was easy access, private balcony looking onto the forest.
