This was a great stay! The water is crystal clear and calm. Snorkel from right behind the house. 3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths. The pool is perfect. Shahida is the host and she helped us set up transportation to and from the airport. We arrived in PLS at 3:30 and the last ferry leaves for North at 5, so we didn’t gamble and we got a private charter. Good thing we did, the ferry was leaving as we were pulling up. The rooms were clean, had all the necessary stuff like paper towels, too, cookware. The beach behind the house is mostly rock, not much sand, but great for snorkeling. The other beaches are 2 minutes car ride if you need sand. Very comfortable house, we had the perfect stay! Thanks!

During our recent stay at the Villa, we faced several challenges upon arrival, including difficulty locating the property, a non-functional dishwasher, and a roof leak in the living area near the patio. Despite these initial issues, the residence was spacious & comfortably accommodated our group of three couples.The Villa provided ample space, making it well-suited for groups or families. The open & inviting living areas allowed for comfortable gatherings. Upon arrival, we noted the master bedroom was not cleaned to an acceptable standard; however, we addressed this ourselves, which improved our comfort during the stay.The lighting in the master bedroom could benefit from enhancement, as it was insufficient & made the room feel less welcoming after dark. Nevertheless, the overall ambiance of the Villa was pleasant & we appreciated the charm of the property.Despite some inconveniences, our experience at the Villa was positive overall. The spacious layout & inviting atmosphere outweighed the negatives. We would be pleased to return for another visit, as the property offered a comfortable home-like environment.

Great location, quiet and private

PBV-2 was just as advertised… nice layout, clean, convenient to the best places on North Caicos. 2 MUST MAKE comments …1. Shahida, the property manager, was AMAZING… she was a 6 star performer! I have NEVER experienced the level of support she provided… she actually met us at Bellefield landing to make sure we got our rental car ok, then led us to the house and gave us a quick overview of places we might want to visit. Just absolutely hospitality!2. Visit Reeko’s Beach Bar and Grill at HorseStable beach … it’s a 3 minute drive. Reeko is equally amazing… he is a big guy with an even bigger personality.. and one of the most decent, honest, genuine human beings I have ever met. And an incredible chef… he will cook you the best dinner of your life right there on the beach. There is no “restaurant”… it’s a simple outdoor grill, a “bar”, and a couple tables on the beach… and the nicest, most friendly and hospitable people you will ever meet.And absolutely the best seafood dinner my girlfriend and I have ever had.

Things I would have wanted to know ahead of time

House was hard to find but following Shahida's directions definitely helped. House is big and clean but definitely had some wear and tear (broken cabinets, dishwasher hanging out of cabinet, rusty fridge with broken shelf, cracks in walls...) Beds were comfortable. Biggest problem was backyard which ultimately was the reason I booked house. The "spa" was cold and no bubbles. When I asked about it once I got there, I was told it was just "a small wading pool." Bigger issue was the beach. You could not sit on it! It is covered in rocks! Not pebbles or gravel, big rocks and broken cement. It did force us to go out and explore the unbelievably beautiful beaches of north Caicos. So amazing!! There is no beach equipment at the house. So when traveling to the beaches all you have is a towel. No beach chairs, umbrellas or coolers. Not many restaurants but Cilantros was delish! Expensive but hands down best meal we had there. Mrs B's was very good too. My advice is to stay in Provo first before coming to North because our flight was considerably delayed. Because we would have landed so late we were told charter to north would be 1200. We ended up getting a room in Provo which we were very lucky to get. Shahida was very helpful. Broken cabinets, very expensive groceries and dinners, no beach to sit on, no spa or beach chairs, having to spend an extra 500 for missing ferry did not ruin our vacation but definitely something to consider when booking.

Quiet and Peaceful

Shahida and team were amazing in assisting us in getting from airport to island. Island is quiet and peaceful. House is well appointed on the sea with a small pool. If you want to party and sit on a beach with cocktail service, this is not for you. This is a place where you cannot see more than a few people a day. If you want private family and friend time, this is perfect. Definitely drive to Bambarra Beach. Most beautiful beach we have ever been to. Went to caves on Middle Caicos as well. Meh on the caves. Barracuda Beach Bar and Grill is walkable and has the most amazing views. Parrot Ice Cream and Snow Cones was yummy. Miss Dee’s and Aquatic - highly recommend! Most items are cooked to order. Be patient and leave the hurry and serve mentality in the US. Thanks again to Shahida and team 😊

Beautiful tranquility in North Caicos

The villa is beautiful. Views absolutely stunning. Weather fantastic. Property manager, Shahida, made check in easy, arranged excursions and transport. Do bring some games and bug repellant to make your stay that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend Mudjin Bar & Grill for lunch and My Dee’s for fun dinner.

Secluded paradise

Our family stayed at pelican beach villa#2 during late April. The property manager Shahida was very helpful. We missed our ferry due to flight delay and she was able to arrange for a private boat charter and taxi. She checked in with us frequently to ensure we had everything needed during our stay. Shahida also helped us with rental car booking and recommended local attractions and restaurants. The property has an amazing beach as the backyard and is in a private neighborhood. The house has roomy bedrooms, bathrooms, spacious kitchen, pool, outdoor dinning area and beachfront deck to enjoy morning coffee and beautiful sunsets! If you are looking for secluded beach property for a family getaway this is a great option.

Amazing family location!

We had an amazing 10 days here! There are sooo many close by beaches to see. Plenty of restaurants to go to. It’s so much more slow pace and low key than Provo. Often we had a beautiful beach to ourselves. Worth the short ferry ride! Super easy to rent a car and travel both north cacios and middle cacios. The pool and house where very clean and nice. The property manager was very helpful.

Pelican Beach

Our stay at this home was fantastic! The house was fabulous and it was just the vacation we were looking for. We wanted seclusion and that’s what you get on North Caicos. If you want a nightlife and lots to do, don’t come here. Stay on Provo for activities. We thoroughly enjoy exploring the island in our car from Al’s car rental. Driving on the left was fun too. Shahida, our representative for the property met us at the ferry landing and escorted us to the house, thoroughly explaining and pointing out all the amenities. We couldn’t have been more pleased with her services.

North Caicos

We travel each year with two other couples, to Caribbean destinations each winter. Turks and Caicos was on all of our bucket lists. We chose North Caicos, as we wanted the privacy and seclusion it offered. We stayed at Pelican Beach Villa II in Whitby and it did not disappoint. It was very centrally located close to restaurants and grocery stores. From that location we traveled to Middle Caicos and visited Mudjin Bay, which is breathtaking! Bambarra beach also a great place to spend a day at the beach. We also took the 8:00 AM ferry and traveled back to Providenciales for a day trip. We had breakfast and shopped, but were ready to head back to North Caicos. Both North and Middle Caicos offer great snorkeling, which we did right behind our property. We were able to catch lobster and conch and invite them back for dinner. In short, both islands were lovely. Plenty of beautiful beaches and activities, but also very secluded. We rarely ran into other tourists while walking the beach's. We would highly recommend this destination!

Great remote getaway for relaxation and beautiful views

Great, quiet location on Turks and Caicos, only a 25-minute ferry ride from the restaurants and activities on Provo. The property manager, Shadida, was wonderfully helpful with taxi, ferry, and other information and very responsive. Take note that there are very few restaurants on North and Middle Caicos and not all have dinner options; plan to cook in a few nights. Can't beat the mostly deserted beaches and beautiful view of the ocean from the villa, though! If you plan a snorkeling or water adventure, must use Captain Dedrick from One Stop Sporting Shop -- he was awesome!
