I stopped here for a break over easter with my adult daughter and 2 young children of 7 and 3. We had an absolutely lovely time, the cottage was very cosy, lovely place. I have very few complaints, the overall stay was really good, my children coped well with all the stairs, no problems there. Recieved the Keycode fine, found the box fine. Bit overwhelming unloading the car in the street, would advise if you cant carry your stuff, to arrive later about 5 as its less busy. Same to pack up, get it done before 9 lol. Found parking ok even on the bank holidays, used the permit. Lots of walking though. The only issues i had with the cottage, was no instructions on how to use the heating, only found out about the hive box on the wall from the previous reviews, also no batteries for the hive box or the TV control, so had to go out and buy some. Also had to wash bedcovers which was fine, (dried really well once heating was sorted), it was the mattress that was the problem, that really needs to be changed. Shower was wonderful! We also took our Amazon firestick for the TV, (kids)... lol worked great. Beds were very comfy, would definitely stop at ocean cottage again, but without kids lol Didnt really have much dealing with the host, which is why ive scored low, coz didnt have contact enough to decide if it was an issue or not, but when i did message on a coupke of occasions with a question, they got back pretty quickly.
