Location is excellent - walkable to White River (1/2 block) and a quick drive to Hood River (10 min) or hiking (10 min), and street parking is easy (helpful because there's no driveway.) The house is spacious, with 4 real bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the living room has 2 couches that comfortably seat 4-5 adults. It has heat and AC in all main rooms. I will say that the house is very comfortable, it is a little roughly renovated, and if you're hoping for a very cute getaway this may not be it. It can feel quite dark inside because 1) it is very close to the hotel building (as in, certain rooms look directly into the hotel corridor!) and 2) the curtains they've chosen are dark and some don't open, so it is truly dark! We were hoping to use the hot tub, but did not understand that it is actually next to the house in a way that means you need to walk out the front door and around a corner, and if you're sitting in it people in the hotel or driving by can see you - so we did not end up using it. Book this place for location, cleanliness, and space and you won't be disappointed. I thought for the price this was a great value.
