Superb short break. There was a water shortage across the area, the host warned is and gave us the option to cancel. We went ahead anyway and she made certain we had plenty of bottled water for our 2 night stay. Seasalter is beautiful and the property gives the best views. Loved it and will return.

We had a lovely stay at Beach Retreat the views from the chalet were just fantastic and being able to walk from the end of the garden when tide was out either direction was great. If you are a swimmer great to be able to have a swim when the tide was in. Great neighbours either side.I would suggest you take fans as we did as the chalet gets extremely hot (greenhouse springs to mind) with no air con, we also took our own umbrella for the outside table. On a negative note we did think that the chalet/outside area needed a bit of TLC.

Magical

From the moment we arrived we knew we would be booking again in the near future. From the beautiful, cosy chalet to a location to die for (sand, sea and endless sky to the front and a nature reserve behind) it was everything we wished for.

Idyllic chalet in beautiful Seasalter

This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again.

Breathtaking view

We had a wonderful stay in Beach Retreat - the perfect escape from London life and truly memorable experience. The house was cosy and the view amazing. We loved sitting out on the decking and even had a swim in the sea at the end of the garden! Thank you Melinda for being very accommodating with our children and allowing us to check in early.
