Definitely out of the ordinary. Breakfast is second to none using good quality ingredients - none of you rubbish cheap sausages and bacon - this is good stuff. Homemade preserves too and]] very tasteful bread. Highly recommended.”

“Very luxurious and comfortable the only problem we had was the kingsize bed was 2 singles put together ànd the mattress topper did not stop thre being a distinct line down the center which was sometimes a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast gave a great choice amd was vert tasty. The pool was good but closed early 6pm itvwould hzbe been nice to enjoy the facilities ”

The castle has a great gastro-pub just a 3-minute walk away in the village. Lovely cooked breakfast in the hotel, Ideal for a short stopover or to explore the area. Perfectly quiet and easily accessible by car or taxi from Newcastle airport. If you want to escape the formality of modern travel and. slow down a bit... Otterburn...
