A Secret Treasure

Was redirected to this accommodation after a booking error a few years back & have stayed at this wonderful secret place every year since. A breath of fresh air!

Needs updated

The staff that checked us in was very nice. The condition of the room was sub-par and had an odor to it. Our room is in need of updating.

Mini vacation

Everyone was most accommodating and friendly and the room was perfect for our needs. A little mini vacation and that the Inn helped make most enjoyable.

Not Good.

The front desk person was very nice. Stayed in room 114, it was dirty, garbage on floor, bed was very old and worn out, entire room was grungy.

The room was quite large and the kitchen had a full compliment of appliances including a full refrigerator. But it was quite threadbare, including worn carpet and a sagging sofa. In the kitchen, no coffee filters and a too-small selection of pots and pans. No dish washing soap other than for the dishwasher. The garbage disposal was inoperative.

Not happy with our stay. For being an extended stay it was lacking simple amenities. There was no soap for either bathrooms or kitchen/dishwasher uses. ONE towel in the entire suite!! Filthy bathroom and shower! A full trash bag left from previous guests on the patio outside of our room. No hot water for even one shower let alone two!!! And no one at the service desk to help!!

The rooms need to be updated. The room seemed clean but just didn’t look like it! Our queen bed seemed like a double. The included breakfast was nice, but front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge us by a “good morning“ or a “hi” when we walked in! Even with the good price, would probably not stay there again!

Weird hotel. My room was dirty and smelled, the beds were basically broken, and I was told I had already been checked in when I arrived. The door didn't have a bar latch. I left about 15 minutes after I arrived. The front desk person was very kind and offered me a refund.

We have stayed here often, but this last time was disappointed with cleanliness. Also the phone was none working. They comped our room for the night but I will most likely delay staying there again for a while.

I’ve stayed a few times. 1st time the toilet was slow but subsequent stays were excellent. Quiet, close to places I frequent.

Once a beautiful inn, has been poorly maintained.

We were here for an extended stay in 2008, and loved the Inn! Came back for the weekend; found things in a sad state of disrepair. In our first room the toilet was well bolted down on one side and the faucet in the shower was partially detached from the wall. The following morning we requested a different room. We also mentioned balance issues stepping over the side of the tub to shower. The desk clerk said he would have maintenance bring and install some grab bars. We moved and then were out most of the day. When we returned they were not installed. We had to walk around to the office to reach the night clerk. He was outside smoking, the phone was off the hook. He said it was late and no maintenance staff were on duty. We said we could install the suction bars if we had them. He found them for us. Shortly after that a maintenance man showed up; said he had been busy all day. The sofa in the living room was so worn down it was unbearable to sit on. The exterior of the grounds has a lot of wood rot & broken up sidewalks. It was disappointing, to say the least!

This property is very much in need of updating. I had to have my husband lift the knob to turn the shower on and i am not a weak wimpy person. The ac was questionable...woke up scorching in the night even tho it was turned on as low as it would go. The amenitiea, meaning the golf course was outstanding and the staff were wonderful. The area is great also. I dont think these facilities have been updated since they were built. Very dated and starting to get rundown. We will probably pass on this place and stay and golf somewhere else next time.

Too bad it was a bit less than expected

There is need of a redo. The bathtub is from the 80s. I was disappointed with the breakfast. The online photo showed a bid spread but it was probably done for a wedding. The entire facility is a bit worn out. The steps and handrail to the second floor rooms was about to collapse
