“A bit of an issue with the booking and whether breakfast was included or not. Advertised as free continental breakfast for all rooms, only to be told on arrival it wasnt included. Used the Expedia agent on the app to query, with screenshots. Breakfast hamper came about 15 mins later. Other than that, all good. Would stay again.”

“This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.”

“Warm welcome. Rooms not overly large, but very well appointed, decent sized bathroom, all requirements for a few nights stay, comfortable beds and linen. “We enjoyed a 2 night stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms (Room 5). The room was furnished to a high standard with a modern bathroom and excellent walk-in shower. “We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.”
