“We wanted a cozy place to stay close enough to a beach to see the ocean that was not too full of people. The fishing was not great but that was just bad timing with the weather and season. Host was accommodating to early check in and night fishing. When we come back to Texas we will certainly look for this place again. We are in a grungy campground outside of Dallas on our way home and already wishing we had spent an extra day at fisherman’s isle!”

“We had a blast while staying here. Except the craziest mosquitoes, which has nothing to do with the place/host. I loved the newly remodeled house. The bathroom need a towel hanger, though. And for the readers information, note that there is no internet/wifi connection available. The host made it clear on the list but I didn’t take notice. You will have to use your data/hot spot to use internet or TV. Overall, it was a fun stay. We had fishing for three days and got couple of fish and crabs....

“We all had a terrific weekend at Big Fish Haus. The fish were biting really well but mostly small ones. And that’s OK cause they’re fine too. Kids had a little swimming pool and a duck wattled over and got in the pool with one of the little girls. It was great.”

“The only issue was that the water from the tank on the toilet seemed to constantly flow from the tank to the bowl. I was able to fix that by just turning off the water. The wifi for the roku did not seem to work as well, but I still believe that is was an excellent stay.”

“Our family spent the majority of Spring Break here this week (3 nights).
