As much as I wanted to love this unit, we had issues that could either not quickly be resolved, or not resolved at all. - We stayed in mid-August, and for 1/2 the stay we didn't have a working AC. It was cooler outside than inside thanks to the breeze on the 5th floor balcony. Sleeping in the heat was miserable!- While check-in was smooth due to the key pad entry, we got locked out on a day that we had little time to get my son back to base on Cape May. Don't know if it was the key pad battery or if the code was changed on us. Bottom line... we were in a panic because he had to be back on base by a certain time. Finding someone to let us in was a circus that took a few hours and ruined our afternoon plans... and limited time we had with him.- On 2 occasions, the elevator was broken. This was an issue because my mom had recently had hip surgery. Luckily, we were able to take the stairs slow and steady down the first time, but the second time was the morning of check out. While mom took it slow and steady, I had to deal w/ carrying both our luggage down from the 5th floor. Again... it was August and hot. The bigger issue was that I specifically picked this place because of the elevator due to moms hip. I absolutely hated seeing her have to navigate this. During my trips up and down, I ran into a resident who didn't have very good things to say about the elevator and attention from any staff/management of the property.
