This was by far one of the best rentals I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. I’ll start with how kind Rey and Daphne are - wonderful human beings. Excellent communication, and they were kind enough to supply fishing worms and a bottle of wine in the fridge for us upon arrival. Everything was very organized, including labels and directions to navigate the condo and surrounding area. The interior of the condo as a whole was very neat, and appliances/amenities are all up to date. The balcony in the back stole the show, of course. Fishing was great, and there are definitely fish out there to catch! I recommend bringing a pier net if you have one, just in case you catch a bigger fish and want to get it up to the balcony without breaking your line or snapping a pole.The only complaint I have is that I wasn’t able to stay longer! I’ll be making sure to book here again for more than just a weekend getaway - it was a very pleasant experience.

Host was prompt with communication and code to get into the property left a ton of instructions on everything in the condo. Condo was mostly clean although several spiders inside among others. We booked specifically to fish from the balcony which you can as long as you’re not scared of spiders. Balcony completely infested. I noticed all other properties were clean on the ceiling free of spider eggs and webs but this one looked very neglected. I bought a feather duster to remove as many as I could but within hours they would all be back. Which made fishing from the balcony very unpleasant. Overall the property was decent as long as you can survive the spider infestation.

Great stay! The standout was definitely the caring and considerate communication with the hosts. They provided weather updates and extremely thorough directions and location of where and how to find/operate items and systems associated with the property and amenities. Was grateful for the complimentary welcome beverage and bait for fishing. My only suggestion would be an additional broom-one for the porch and one for inside. The porch was inundated with spiders and spider webs that required frequent removal with the only broom that was provided and had obviously been primarily used for the same purpose, so as a result, it may need to be replaced to meet that purpose. Well stocked with kitchen items, blankets, games, fishing poles, items for tennis and basketball. Very clean and cozy.

Excellent view. Owners were very detailed about the property which was so helpful! The king bed was so incredible comfortable! Also, having a place rt across the parking lot to have a bite and a drink really made things even better after a long drive in.

Was there last year, same unit. Very nice. Fishing was terrible this time but that is just the way it goes sometimes.Last year caught over 100 fish in 3 days same condo unit.Owner are great, highly recommend. I hope to go back this fall.

We had such a great stay on Lake Conroe. The condo had every amenity imaginable and Daphne and Rey were amazing hosts. Such a perk to have bait and wine waiting in the fridge. We especially enjoyed fishing from the balcony and sitting in comfy recliners!!! We will definitely stay next time we visit our friends in Conroe!

Everything stood out. The condo was so clean. The furniture is set up nicely to be able to view the water at all times. It is a perfect place to vacation. The hosts are amazing as well. They respond almost immediately to any message. This was our second time to go and will not be our last!

A beautiful little getaway! We had such a great time — my husband loved being able to fish right off the deck. The place was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and helpful, especially when I had questions about the parking pass. We also loved that so many amenities were within walking distance. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed this past weekend with the goal of simply relaxing and fishing. The condo was well-stocked with everything you would need. We brought our own towels just in case. We didn’t cook since we chose to dine out each day, and I enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable recliner watching TV while my husband spent his time fishing. He didn’t catch a lot, but he was happy with the few he did and especially loved being able to fish right outside the condo without having to go anywhere.The area is peaceful, which I really loved, we had a wonderful time. We’ll definitely be back! The owners were very professional and welcoming—they sent reminders both before our stay and before checkout, and they respond quickly, which I love. We had zero issues during our visit. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy fishing, this is the perfect spot. We didn’t use the other amenities, but everything met our expectations and more.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. You both are great communicators and willing to answer any questions we had.. We appreciate how easy it was to check in and just get to relaxing. The beautiful view welcomed us as we opened the door! The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a very hot summer, but your air conditioning could keep up with it.We were a two minute walk from the restaurant on the property. They were playing live music and the food was good. We definitely would love to come back when we are in the area.

Amazing vacation condo!

This was a lovely condo. We have stayed at Lake Conroe several times and this was by far the most wonderful place! It is in a perfect place with the patio overlooking the lake. The owners responded immediately with a couple of questions we had. The condo was clean and had every amenity one might want. We have already booked our next stay.

Fishing was great. I am a senior with limited mobility. It was perfect. I fished from the balcony, caught over 100 fish in 3 days. A lot of nice-sized blue gills and sunfish. Several nice catfish. I catch and release, but there would have been more keepers than I could have needed. Quiet, well stocked with basic needs. Easy check-in and good instructions. Will definitely go back

This property would be good for someone wanting to fish, and the owners were good communicators. They provided a lot of information. The condo was equipped with helpful kitchen supplies. The king sized bed was comfortable and the bedroom was well equipped. They supply bug spray, which was needed. During my long weekend in June there were quite a few gnats and other bugs, which were very annoying. One of lamps had a plastic-covered lampshade, where a small spider and other small bugs were trapped. I would recommend a thorough cleaning. There was a long dark hair in the bathroom sink and an old french fry in the storage drawer under the stove. The air conditioner cooled the condo, but was very loud and continuously reset to a higher temperature. I would realize I was feeling warm and then had to get up to turn down the AC again. I don't understand why "recent remodel" is listed in the description. I could not see any evidence of a remodel inside the condo. Also, anyone with mobility issues should be aware that the Jacuzzi tub (the only shower) has a step up and then a deep step down into the tub.
