Beautiful home, perfect for our group. Gene is an excellent host, he is always available if we have any questions and always makes sure everything is good to go. We have been coming to Lake Placid for the last 20 years, by far the best place and host we have ever had.

We had the absolute BEST stay! We used this lodge for our wedding weekend with close friends and family and had a small ceremony in the backyard. Everything went flawless & Gene (the property owner) gave us amazing recommendations for rental companies for table & chairs, catering and more. He was responsive throughout the entire rental process even when we had questions during our stay. We will definitely be returning with our baby boy someday who will be arriving in January 2026!!!

Cozy winter wedding

We recently celebrated our cozy winter wedding at Grand Peaks Lodge, and it was better than we could have imagined. Gene was a fantastic host with a perfect collection of vendor recommendations to pull off a memorable wedding. The Lodge is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We hosted 38 people with about 16 staying at the lodge… we could’ve easily fit more though! All of the rooms were comfortable and fully equipped, and the hot tubs were a welcomed way to wind down in the evening. Everyone is still talking about how much they enjoyed both the wedding and the lodging with many discussing future plans for a family reunion here. If you want quality time with friends and family, this is the place!!

Winter break with family and friends!

This house was excellent for our big group. It was very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. Everyone had a great time and especially enjoyed the two jacuzzis! The owners/property managers were super responsive. We will definitely be back!

Excellent for a big group!

We had a lovely time at the house! We met up with friends for a big reunion, and there was so much space for everything. The kitchen with two of everything was particularly appreciated, as were the two hot tubs! Would come again!

Magical!

If possible this property was even better than pictures or description. The owners were so attentive and accessible though not intrusive. The feel of the place, the amenities, supplies, everything was just great. Everyone in our group of 28, including children, teens, adults, and seniors, were happy and comfortable! Amazing all around

Grand Peaks Lodge served as our home base and wedding venue for both ceremony and reception. Gene was a wonderful host and very available and helpful throughout the entire planning process and actual weekend. Our guests enjoyed their stay so much, as did we! Would definitely recommend any of Genes properties for any type of gathering or vacation.

The house was amazing. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. A few sets of washers and dryers came in handy. Also, the bunk room had trundle beds under the bottom bunk providing two extra beds in the double bunk room. Amazing!

Look no further...this is perfection!

We recently stayed at Grand Peaks Lodge for our 2nd time with 23 family members last year and 21 this year, who range in age from 3-81. No details were overlooked here, the house is clean and stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and kitchen essentials! I even found 3 crockpots here! Having 2 of everything in the kitchen really helped with mealtime! There is plenty of room to spread out, plenty for the kids to do in the game room. The hot tubs and fire pit were enjoyed by all! About a 20-25 minute ride to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor activities in the area. We had such a great stay that we booked our 3rd stay for next year!

Family Reunion

We rented both Grand Peaks and Grand Jay this week. Grand Peaks was the perfect hub for our multigenerational family reunion - 31 of us, ages 2-77. The properties were a quick walk down the road from each other and made gathering so easy. Grand Peaks had more than enough room for us to hang out in, and the huge dining area allowed us to all enjoy many dinners together. The kids all enjoyed the game room, playing ping pong, basketball, foosball and video games. The hot tubs and sauna were also a hit. Lots of things to do in the area, with a quick drive to Lake Placid. Gene was very responsive to any and all questions and was very accommodating. We look forward to returning in the future!

Amazing house and reunion

Our group of families who adopted from China 15 years ago, gets together every year for a reunion. We have been renting large houses all over New England. This house was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms comfortable and the house was so spacious that everyone in our party had room to stretch out! Gene was a wonderful host and we look forward to next summer and China Reunion 16! Thank you!!

AMAZING!!

This was our third year staying with High Peaks Rentals, and our second year at Grand Peaks Lodge. There is a total of 17 of us, ranging from 4-75. Besides this place being absolutely gorgeous, it has everything you would need for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation… for any age! There was more than enough room, and the double kitchen was so handy for cooking big meals! Gene was great to work with from start to finish- extremely responsive and willing to work with our families needs. Can’t say enough great things about this property! We just booked our 2025 trip!

Amazingly spacious house, close to Whiteface

This house was amazing for our large group of 19- everyone had plenty of place with their own bathroom, the kitchen had 2 of everything, and the kids got to have fun with giant sleepovers in the bunk beds. Close to whiteface but a little far from LP which made the desire to go out to dinner after a long day of skiing tough. Host was great and very communicative. Highly recommend for a ski trip with a large group!
