My wife and I live close by with other relatives. Anytime we want to have some time to ourselves for a few days we come here. It’s clean, safe, and spacious. Our pups are welcome and there are food options close by. It’s a fabulous spot for the value!

First thing we saw when we walked in were German roaches on the kitchen counter. The refrigerators here are just under five feet tall so they are eye level and look like they haven't been wiped down in months. The white doors are covered in hand prints and dirt, spills dried up next to the end tables. All with that ever so obvious smell of roach cheese in the stagnant air. We've stayed here before and never felt like we couldn't sit in the bed or stand in the shower but that's how it's feeling. Cleaning everything right now because I know I'm not going to get a refund and because I do that anyways at any hotel I stay in before I use it. It just feels more necessary this go around. Only positive thing was the gentleman who checked us in. Very polite accommodating and friendly.

I took a last minute trip and needed a quick spot to stay for less than 48 hours. It wasn't the best place I've ever stayed but not the worst. Area surrounding is a little shady. But, the bed was comfortable and the guy working the desk overnight was really friendly. It's also minutes from the airport and beach.

the room was infested with cockroaches. We didn’t even spend the night, we had to leave immediately after we checked in and cancel our room because of how u cleanly the room was.

It was clean but, I got a King size bed and without notice the room got booked. The rep did put me in a double queen but the AC was pushing out a smell.

Upgraded extended stay property but poorly done. No outlets for the appliances, the bedding covers were thin, housekeeping started moving furniture above us at 7am, had to go get bath towels and shower supplies at the desk, no room in the bathroom since the “new” shower took up most of the room and can’t close the door when sitting on the toilet. An average hotel.

The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. I was given a brief overview of the property. It was even disclosed that they had a garden, and I could help myself to whatever I would like!

My family and myself enjoyed our stay as always. The price was great for the triple bed room, along with the nice updated features in the bathroom. The receptionist that checked us in was sweet and she makes you feel welcomed. We will always return when going to the beach

Do not stay here…!!!
The place was filthy. The night manager was rude and obnoxious. There were multiple men who were on some type of drugs bothering us for money, using my cell phone, wanting beer and cigarettes. My daughter and wife were petrified. We left and walked away from our 3 night stay and the $. We went to Drifters Reef. People go to Drifters. Family owned, clean, friendly and no druggies around.

Individual room was not entirely clean, dirt on floor, shower, toilet and walls. Advertised as a kitchenette room but you have to go check out any utensils or pans. Rooms are rented to construction crews who hang their wet dirty laundry outside their rooms. Men are constantly sitting all over parking lot drinking, smoking and talking in the telephone. Clean towels were provided daily but were paper thin. Garbage was overflowing the dumpster.

Safety concerns
The good: The service was great, the man at the front desk (I assume the manager) was accommodating and when we requested to change rooms he was quick to assist. The bad: The rooms were not dirty and I never saw any bugs, but they smelled strongly of cigarettes. The first room we were assigned, the door frame was damaged as if someone had taken a crow bar to it at some point. The deadbolt would not latch. The second room, the door was actually flimsy. All the locks latched but the bottom of the door could easily have been pushed right in like a dog eared page. Overall, it’s not horrible by any means, it’s actually very nice inside the room decor/update wise. However, unless you are a big burly man or with one, I would not stay here. There were characters that seemed to pop out at night, and safety just felt… less than fantastic.

We saw one live and two dead roaches in our room within the first 15 minutes of arriving. However, the front desk staff immediately offered a full return and was apologetic. Do not recommend .
