The good: The service was great, the man at the front desk (I assume the manager) was accommodating and when we requested to change rooms he was quick to assist.
The bad: The rooms were not dirty and I never saw any bugs, but they smelled strongly of cigarettes. The first room we were assigned, the door frame was damaged as if someone had taken a crow bar to it at some point. The deadbolt would not latch. The second room, the door was actually flimsy. All the locks latched but the bottom of the door could easily have been pushed right in like a dog eared page.
Overall, it’s not horrible by any means, it’s actually very nice inside the room decor/update wise. However, unless you are a big burly man or with one, I would not stay here. There were characters that seemed to pop out at night, and safety just felt… less than fantastic.
