  • Seeking a romantic getaway or respite from a long work day? You'll love relaxing "at home" in your private 1 BR suite. We are located in a tree lined quiet community. Convenient shopping & restaurants are within walking distance. Short & extended rentals for business travelers or those relocating. Minutes from historic Chadds Ford & the scenic Brandywine Valley, plan to tour our Wine & Ale Trail, hike our greenways or experience the many duPont Chateau's with their glorious gardens & grounds. Though the suite is connected to the rest of the house, a locked door gives you constant privacy. The space has separate entrance with en suite full bath and adjoining sitting/working area. Feel free to enjoy our lower level garden patio. You can walk through our back yard to a nice walking path around our town center, ponds and fountains. We enjoy the company of those who wish to interact and respect the privacy of those who don't. We are available as needed, on site to provide assistance to make this your perfect stay.

Nice central location close to everything, cute little side apartment with all the nice decor touches, clean and comfortable, a great neighborhood, private stay, and best of all the hostess provided very personable extras. Highly recommended!

Don and Cheryl's place is very nice . The place is clean and comfortable. They thought of every thing you would need and then some. It's people like Don and Cheryl and their nice place , why we try not to stay in hotels any more when we travel . If we are going to be in that area again , we will definitely stay there again if it's available. Don and Cheryl thank you for a great weekend get away . The Pepper's

We were comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were highly effective in providing for all our possible needs. They even went out of their way for us by providing items for a light breakfast. We highly recommend them.

The unit is exactly as described. Very nice place. The owners were very thoughtful from a welcome note to refilling the coffee K-cups. We would definitely look this place up again if we come back this way.

Cheryl and Don were absolutely amazing! The property and location were beautiful. The house was clean and so "home" like. Very organized and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area! Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby

The property was as portrayed/described, and it was a lovely surprise that our hosts left some Welcome Treats and Breakfast Goodies. Completely unexpected. The space is quiet, wuth a "homey" feel to it. Everything you could want or need was there. The property is centrally located to many Brandywine Valley tourist spots... and Longwood Gardens. When back in the area, will definitely look Cheryl & Dan up again!

Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed as a solo traveler, and I can see it’s ideal for a couple as well. Top marks all around! Nicely appointed and roomy suite in a beautiful neighborhood where I enjoyed walking in open greenery and to nearby shopping. I’ve never felt more “at home” on the road.

This suite was easy to find very welcoming. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail.Greeted with everything you need for a comfortable stay, we appreciated the hard cooked eggs and homemade muffins for breakfast. Coffee and tea too. There is a welcome binder explaining the steps used to clean between stays. Terrific! Also in the binder you will find the history of Brandywine Valley as well as sightseeing information. We would highly recommend this suite and definitely stay again.Thankyou Don and Cheryl for a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay here. Cheryl and Don are gracious hosts and left special touches like muffins and hard boiled eggs for our first breakfast. The area was located in a great area with easy access to many great historic sites. I would love to stay here again and do another visit to the Longwood Gardens.

I loved this property! I just spent one night there, but wish I had stayed longer! The description/photos were very accurate…it’s a one bed suite attached to the side of a beautiful home in an upscale community just south of Chadds Ford, PA. The owners are on site, but I never saw or heard from them, except for a welcome text. It’s basically an upscale hotel suite without the hotel! The space is tastefully decorated & furnished with all you’d need, plenty of space for solo travelers or couples. Bed was very comfortable, atmosphere was quiet, and the grounds lovely. In addition to coffee and tea facilities, there is a small fridge/freezer, microwave, water, and homemade treats that I gobbled up immediately. If you can, be sure to enjoy a nice cuppa or glass of vino on their back patio, AM or PM. I’ll definitely be returning, hopefully for a longer respite!

Nice accommodations, convenient location and friendly hosts. Perfect for our Longwood Gardens Christmas trip. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!

A great place! Our host was welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. All of the touches really made the place feel like home. The location is quiet and peaceful, not too far from attractions. Highly recommended!
