“Great place to get away from your busy life. We enjoyed it. It is what you make it. Stay there and enjoy the hot tub. Grill some food. Tap into peace that God brings when you still yourself. We will be back. Make sure to bring slip on shoes that can get wet. Gotta leave them outsde the tent and it rained on ours! Need them to walk around ourside. Bring a good knife and cut board. ”

“We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. They had special touches like robes, luxury bath towels, and fantastic smelling shampoo and...

“This was a very lovely place with lots of potential but when we check in the tent was completely closed in and the AC unit was not running. I messaged but I was told that the AC unit was just to make it “comfortable to sleep”. It was well over 100 degrees in the tent when my 71 year old mother and I arrived. I have stayed in glamping tents before but they always turn the AC unit on before you arrive so it’s not so horribly hot. There were also ants everywhere. My mother and I had to leave to...

“We really enjoyed our Glamping adventure at 12 Fires! We arrived, got settled, turned on the AC unit and went to the tasting room! Mike was so incredibly hospitable and it was super fun to geek out about wine with him. After a great dinner in Fredericksburg, we came back to a nice cool "bedroom" in our tent. We could hear the road noise, but the AC unit was great "white noise" and we slept soundly. We even had a mini-fridge for stashing our wine purchases. Coffee on the front porch in the...
