“Lonesome Dove had everything we needed to hang out, visit and enjoy a family vacation. We brought pool volleyball and spent time playing in the pool. We floated several rivers and all were within 30 minutes of the house. So many beautiful sitting areas to enjoy. We sat on both porches and enjoyed the rain when it came and spent time sitting on the patio around the Koi pond. Lovely stay.”

“This was our first time visiting the Wimberly area and this was a perfect spot for 4 couples. Secluded and set back among the trees but still very close to town. We really enjoyed the pavilion, fire pit and outdoor space. The cabin was nicely laid out and the decor made it feel cozy. Kitchen felt a little crammed and we wished there were a few more prep/baking dishes, but overall this place met all our expectations. We'd definately stay here again! ”

We wanted to enjoy a quiet get away where we could kick back and relax, enjoy nature, and not be far from the old downtown feel of life. The house was absolutely beautiful, and we got to see so many deer on the property throughout the stay. The entire property was extremely well maintained, as well as the amenities that we were able to utilize. We will absolutely be coming back again!”
