Bowness-on-Windermere (1.5 miles) charms with its waterfront shops and cafes; you can also board a scenic cruise from here to chug peacefully towards Ambleside and Lakeside.

Step inside this impressive Lakeland retreat, kick off your muddy walking boots in the entrance, and walk through to the property's social heart – the light-filled open-plan living space. This airy room combines a well-appointed kitchen with a restful lounge area and contemporary dining space – offering the perfect base to relax between days of outdoor adventure together.
