The property and the surrounding area were beautiful and we were excited to begin our trip but it started out badly and went on to be worse. There were several health and safety issues throughout our stay. Upon arriving at the property men were working on a plugged toilet and we were told we could not use it. This was difficult because there were 7 people and the property was described as having 4 bathrooms. The first night we could not get the heater to work in the apartment. The host was notified and a repair man worked on it but it never did work well enough to heat the apartment. Temps were in the 40's. Several days later we noticed a leak spraying out of some pipes in the back yard. Again the host was notified and repairman was dispatched. Our water was cut off during showers and dinner on Saturday night for over 3 hours. The interior had a lack of attention to cleanliness as the oven smoked up the house upon use as did the BBQ. The coffee pot was filthy as were the dining room chair seats. The house was not kept up well. We asked the host to apply a partial refund in view of the issues we experienced but she would not. A bonus was that the property was in the flight path of an airport and adjacent a dog kennel so if you're looking for peace and quiet this is not the place.
