“My wife and I stayed 2 nights and was very satisfied. We didn’t make use of the amenities so I am not able to comment on them. The term “Resort” is a little misleading however as for hotel accommodation, it is good. While a little dated, the Methven Resort has all that is needed for a comfortable stay. “We stayed only one night, but the experience was excellent. The check in was quick, the owner gave us complimentary bottle of water as we arrived. The room was very large and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Unfortunately, the bad weather prevented us from enjoying any view. ”

“The checking in was frustrating we arrive at one o’clock now one in office so came back at 2 o’clock now one there so phoned told she won’t be far. Half an hour later 4 customer waiting the lady finally arrived. Not a good look. There was 2 of us stay for 3 nights. Only one lot of toiletries in the bathroom and on the second day asked for more toilet paper. Sorry you have to pay for more. “Little chocolates on the towels were really cute. Most places dont do them now so was a nice surprise. Clean and tidy when we arrived and the book they put together was really helpful. Only downside was the speaker in the tv sounds like it is going. Will definitely be booking again in the future. ”
