The coffee was very weak, and although there were tea bags, there was no hot water and not cups that could be put in the microwave to heat water.

Cheap for a reason.. furniture needs replaced toilet and shower was nasty.. I had to take a shower with my shower shoes. Towels and wash clothes was old and stained. Thank goodness I had my own towel wash clothes and blanket.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was a little leery about this small hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. Although just basic accommodations, the room was clean enough that I was comfortable showering and sleeping. The only suggestion I would give to management would be to close the bathroom door to clean the corners behind it and check for towels hanging on the back of the door.

If we got to stay there I could have given an opinion on the property. We got there and were told there were no rooms. This is after we PAID in advance for a room. No apologies. No help to get a booking some where else. No refund or help getting a refund thru Expedia. We had arrived at 10:30 pm after driving for 5 hours. After looking on Expedia to book another room. This property had an available room advertised for the same day we had arrived.

Trust me. Drive the 30 miles to Columbia and stay somewhere halfway decent. This place is a dump. Way out dated. Tiny soap bottles, old sheets, bad carpet. The two people working the front desk (I assume the owners) are rude. The town is run down and apparently full of crime. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Granite vanity,40 inch wall mounted TV, New bedding, Well maintain carprt, and heating and cooling unit is in working condition.We have soap bar not a soap bottle. one person working at front desk but at shift change 2 people work.Nice and clean town and town has very minimum crime rate.We apoloize for the inconvenience. regards. This place is horrible! The windows were dirty, furniture old and scratched up, and the TV didn't work. There was also a disgusting smell of cow manure from apparently a nearby pastor. I could not stay in a place in such a decrepit condition. I for a refund and left the property.

The guy at the front desk had no idea what he was doing. I booked through Expedia and purchased my stay. Then when I got to the hotel I was charged again. Now I have to wait til that money goes back on my card. I had to use two cards put together to even open my door to get in and that wasn't easy took me 10 times before I could even get into my room. Walked in room was so hot. Took two hours for room to cool down. Was a smoking room so it smelled like a ashtray. I had no idea that there was even hotels that even allow you to smoke in them anymore. Stains all over seats. Big gap under door where any bugs could just come in. Fire detector was hanging from ceiling and beeping non stop. I had room 112. Worst place I have ever stayed at. People were slamming doors all night and outside talking and carrying on all night witch makes me think it may of been a drug hotel also. I don't understand how places like this can even stay open. So If your thinking this place save yourself the stress and go a couple more miles up the highway...

Hell no, never again
I recommend not staying here, the area is very sketchy the hotel is not clean , there was hair in the sink, the shower wasn't clean and the sheets were Stained yellow, needlessly to say we slept on top of the covers, I was also booked for two nights but upon booking in they didn't see the second night but the desk clerk assured me it would be ok to leave my stuff in the room while I was away at work, at 11 am I received a call from the hotel telling me to come get my stuff out, so making me leave work I went back to get my stuff and went to the front to show my ass alil, and low and behold they found my 2nd night booking, I told them to keep it I wasn't going to stay in their nasty motel ever again, I dont know why they would think it's ok to call someone and tell them to come now and get their stuff, just rude

Wish There Was More Choices in This One Horse Town
If I had been at a hotel costing less than 40.00, I would have been more accepting of issues. But I wasn't. My hotel cost 80.00 a night. I got there and was generally pleased with the room. I left for an even, and came back, and couldn't get in my room. So I had to walk up to the hotel office to get a key. The clerk asked me if there was someone in my room? If there was, I wouldn't need help getting in my room! Then after I got in, the air conditioner stopped working. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work. So again I walked up to the front office and told them my air was not working. The clerk came down, tried to get it to start, and couldn't, so he offered to put me in another room. I waited while he made a key for the second room, and he couldn't get in the door, so he had to go back and make a key for another room. Finally in a room, with working air. Once I was in a room that was working I did not leave. Overall, I was ok with it. Would have preferred a fan setting as the air was a bit cold. And I would have liked a channel list. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. If I was coming back to this town, that would not stop me from staying there, because it is the only one in town.

Cable did not work and the blow dryer was broke. It smelled musty. No breakfast. Stain on chair. Exhaust fan in bathroom was really loud! Beds were comfy. Used it because it was an emergency and desperate.

Well, the ice machine was broken. Was not impressed with the Continental breakfast area and the sitting breakfast area squeezed into the hotel lobby/check in area. We skipped breakfast. We small space. We like noise when we sleep and the air/heat unit could not just turn the fan on and it stay on.

Evacuated because of hurricane Florence.
We evacuated from Leland, NC because of hurricane Florence. This was an inexpensive place to stay. The staff was very nice. The rooms clean. The beds small at only full size. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, frosted flakes, raisin bran, honey buns from a box and donut dipping sticks that you buy at any grocery store. There is a a grocery store across the street and another within a mile. With a refrigerator and microwave that was nice. We ate at an Italian restaurant within 2 miles and it was good. We went to Blythwood and ate a couple times which had a lot more to offer restaurant wise and also a Comfort Inn that cost around $25. more per night. I would stay again if need be. It was nice considering we didn't know when we could come home or what we would come home to.
