New listing so some kinks to work out
It is a new listing so I think some things need to be worked out. Pros: check in process was easy, host was very responsive to questions, house has pretty much all the basic things you need and tidy . Seems like a safe neighborhood . Cons: there is a mattress on the floor in one of the bedrooms, but otherwise the other bedrooms have actual beds. There was no ironing board or steamer. (we did contact the host to ask if there was one, and it seemed as though she was willing to bring one by , but we figured it out !) . The washer was not working so we had to lug our stuff over to our family‘s house nearby to do laundry, which was a little inconvenient. I think one of the biggest cons was that the house smells like pets especially the downstairs carpet and we’re just not used to it. I don’t believe the listing had mentioned that. We ended up “checking out “ one night early because we needed to do laundry anyway so we ended up staying with a family member for the last night .
