  • Our private cottage features a fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer, 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed,the other a queen, 2 pull out sofa beds, one full size and 1 queen, 1 air mattress, 1 full bath with tub and shower, all linens provided, free WIFI, 2 electric fireplaces with 2 Roku flat screen tvs, central air, heat, coffee pot, pots and pans, dishware and linens, fire pit, charcoal grill, front porch swing, and an indoor/outdoor kennel for your canine family member, situated on 20 acres with trails, on a dead end road. Tired of the rat race of the city life? You will love the peaceful, serene location. Conveniently located 5 miles from Devil's Head Ski & Golf Resort, 5 miles to Cascade Mountain, 20 miles to Wisconsin Dells,so many attractions nearby-Devils Lake State Park, Circus World Museum,Ho Chunk Casino,Waterparks, The Outlet Center with shopping galore, to name a few. Pack up your family and vacation here, in your own private home! Please note: there is a $75 fee per pet, per stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable rooms with a well equipped kitchen and fenced in area for our dog. Loved sitting on the covered porch and hearing owls and coyotes in the distance as night set in. Devils Lake State Park, Wisconsin Dells, The Crane Sanctuary and more are waiting for you to explore in this nice area.

Peaceful Respite

Close to EVERYTHING! Crane foundation is amazing, wildlife park, casino, devils lake! The area is amazing, the vistas, lakes. We took the ferry from Lodi to Merrimac too. Then back to the rustic cottage for peace, nature, serenity at it's best!

Quiet Cottage Getaway

A great place to get away from the city, yet close enough to many interesting attractions! We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the overall property, and the location. We hope to come back again someday with our kids and grandchild!

Cozy Cottage

We have been coming to this cottage for years now. Never disappointed, Always feel so welcomed and like our home away from home. Love the area and having a place like this to enjoy after exploring the area makes our visits so much more enjoyable. Great Hosts!

Country Respite

Roomy house with a lovely porch, big yard, trails through the acreage, and a wonderful fire pit. We enjoyed this quiet, country home and the nearby hiking trails and Dells boats.

Great Country Living

A great place to get away from things in a remote location. It was very clean and good size cabin, it fit our family of four comfortably. Not too far from Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells.

Nice house in secluded location

We enjoyed our stay in this house. The owner was very accommodating and easy to reach. The built in kennel for our dog was great. Would stay again if ever in the Dells area.

Secluded getaway

We love visiting this property. Very private place nestled in the woods, yet within driving distance to Devil's Lake, Portage, Baraboo, Merrimac or Wisconsin Dells. The owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you want to "get away from it all" this is a great place to stay!

Great stay near Baraboo!

We had a great time exploring Devil’s Lake State Park and Mirror Lake State Park during our stay. Perfect location and such a homey place to relax. Was great having a place for our dog as well when we couldn’t bring her to some of the places we visited. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful Cottage

Awesome cottage. The kitchen is fantastic and enormous! Good location that is secluded but a 20-minute drive to most attractions. Very clean. I will stay here again next time we visit if it is available.

The perfect getaway

My wife and I spent our honeymoon at this place and it couldn't have been better. The inside was nice and comfortable and roomy and the outside was great for walks during the day and using the firepit in the late afternoon evening. We will be back for more!

Lots of outdoor possibilities

Lots of outdoor possibilities we loved that they were walking paths and a large wooded area to explore as well as a fire pit to hang out at! We cooked most of our meals in with the full kitchen!

Get Away From It All

We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoyed it. It is secluded enough that you feel totally removed from the bustle of daily life, yet close enough to Baraboo and Devil's's Lake to have access to good restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well stocked, linens and towels provided, as well as wifi, TV and even some DVDs if you want to relax with a movie. We always feel very at home here and if you want to "get away from it all" this cabin fits the bill.
