The rustic shed was the perfect fit, feel and location for our family trip to the Dells. It was close enough to all the attractions and far enough to feel like a cozy cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the clean, well equipped house playing games and spending time with family.

I think we were unique in that we stayed at this vacation home 9 nights. We are a family of 8, including a 7 month old and a 4 year old grand children and dogs. Since we live in state and travel by car, I always bring my own stuff, toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen towels, rags, hot pads, wash cloths and hand towels, spices, etc. you get the idea. This is the first rental we've stayed at that is as advertised, it had the supplies anyone would need. Not only that, the home was coordinated and carried the rustic theme throughout. My 4 year old grandson thought the swingset was in a park and asked frequently if he could go to the park. I appreciated the clearly marked property borders. The is a metal shed, as you know, and I was concerned about noise, but it was never an issue! People could shoot pool and not be heard in the living room nor could we hear the rain, until we went out on the covered patio. A l9vely vacation spot and highly recommend.

The check-in was so smooth. I received an email several days before with all the appropriate information. And then I received an email after our check-in time to make sure we got in and that everything was satisfactory as well as contact information if we had any problems. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. An extra refrigerator in the garage was handy too!

Over all we had a fantastic time in Wisconsin Dells and staying at the Rustic Retreat. The kitchen facilities were well stocked for anything we could need and the game room was a favorite for all the family, from the kids to the adults. The location is perfect for easily getting to all Dells attractions, but far enough away to not have to deal with crowds. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Wisconsin Dells.

Wonderful spacious quiet setting

Room for everyone, comfortable, peaceful and entertaining! Had so much fun in the game room! Played some basketball. Watched the deer come around at night. Slept well after all our hiking, boat ride, fishing and shopping! Wonderful place for a family!

Nice Quiet Get Away While Staying in the Dells

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood, decorated in a Rural/Rustic theme. The owners truly strived to ensure our experience was outstanding (5-star) including ease of check in, heads up reminders of personal items that one might want to bring to the Dells if needed. We had our two adult kids, two grandkids (9&11), and the games (billiards, foosball, arcade games, etc.) were all used well, especially since the weather wasn't ideal for outdoor parks during our stay (no VRBO owners cannot control this - LOL). Truly felt our hosts really strived to ensure our stay was the absolute best - THANK YOU Sondra & Leon.

This property was great for a bachelor party group. We loved the game room and large garage with the extra fridge was a really nice feature.The location is close enough to town to get reasonable Uber/Lyft rides but isolated enough that we didn't have to worry about bothering neighbors much.

50th Birthday & Easter Family Trip

This Rustic Shed was exactly what we expected! Clean, private, entertainment room, multiple areas to gather, and has a welcoming feel like a home away from home should! The built in activities room was a great addition to the stay having grandchildren ranging 6 to 11 years old, kids in their 20s & 30s and us. We all HIGHLY recommend The Rustic Shed! Lots of fun!

The Rustic Shed is an amazing place. Incredibly clean, lots of space indoors & out, & an extremely well stocked kitchen. We loved the game room & our 5 grandsons never wanted to leave it. The seclusion of the place was wonderful, be we also had easy access to the restaurants & activities in the Dells. Also enjoyed nearby Rocky Arbor state park. Sondra was so wonderful to work with & answered our questions promptly. Perfection!

Family Gathering

Perfect Family Getaway!Our stay at this VRBO was fantastic! It was the perfect place for our family, offering plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. The home was spotless upon arrival, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.There was so much to do, both at the property and in the surrounding area. The games, pool table, and video games kept everyone entertained, making it a great spot for all ages. One of the biggest highlights for us was how wheelchair-friendly the space was. It’s hard to find a vacation rental where my son has enough room to move around comfortably, but this place exceeded our expectations.The host was easy to work with and responsive to any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

Annual planning

The Rustic Shed worked great for our 2 day annual planning session. We were able to spread out our papers on the dining room table and leave it for the next day. We didn’t do a lot of cooking but the kitchen was well able to do what we needed.

Unique Cozy Home in Quiet Location

We were co-sponsoring an event at the Kalahari Resort and wanted a quiet place away from the venue. The house was PERFECT! We enjoyed the decor and the game room had us reminiscing about arcade rooms in the 80s. Excellent communication with owners and I highly recommend this property!
