“Just doe a night it was ok. There are lots of little things that just need a little attention to smarten up the hotel and make the experience a better for guests. Staff are helpful but seem a little complacent that’s how things are. Eg. Hotel rubbish outside in the walkway between the two car parks where staff also have a ‘smoking table’ with lots of ash, rubbish on the flat roof outside our window, mould on our window frame, sheet was too small for our bed frame and didn’t tuck in, fire door...

“The room was well equipped, excellent bathroom facilities. There was no water in the room when we arrived, but the receptionist was helpful in obtaining it. The breakfast was excellent and we had dinner in the same restaurant one evening and it was also very very good. ”

“Small but comfortable rooms. Had a free upgrade to doubles from the singles that we booked which was lovely. Nice and central to amenities in the town. Close to the railway so there is some train noise.”

“Celine was amazing. She gave us access after hours, checked on us in the morning and gave us tea and toast after breakfast hours, checked on our welfare, held our bags for us when we went into Oxford, and gave us waters in the heat wave. The sheets were not very clean and the bathroom garage was not emptied when we checked in, but the shower was good and there was a fan and tea provided in the room with decently comfortable beds. A great place!”

“I will never stay in this hotel again. Although inexpensive by Oxford hotel prices, you get what you pay for and it is not worth it. I asked for the quietest room - hahaha. The surrounding nightclubs and the bar below are full on until after 1am! And there is no sound proofing between rooms and I had noisy neighbours too! As you enter the hotel, the carpet on the stairs is filthy and the corridor smells. The room itself was clean enough but no side table and poor quality mattress and pillows. So...
