“Excellent village pub with great staff and atmosphere that matches its surroundings and in keeping with good old inn values. The chef provides a great variety of flavors and quality dishes all served hot and on hot plates. The stairs are somewhat challenging for the elderly and mobility impaired. I didn’t realize when booking that I could have requested a ground floor room. My bad - should have read the small print. Would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

“Great staff, helpful and friendly. The food in the Brazzerie was excellent. A little disappointed that the pool was closed to guests between 15:30 and 17:00 because of Children Swimming. Also slightly disappointed that you haven’t pay £7.40 per person for a swim. ”

“Brilliant accommodation for anyone requiring one in the area. We stayed for wedding at a local venue and we couldn't fault it at all. Rooms were just what we needed and our hosts Sue and Clive couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful! Would definitely considering staying again if needed for the area again. Certainly plan to have dinner in the pub as well, very good value, very tasty and amazing portion sizes. Would only note, the room we stayed in called 'Fakenham', only annoyance is Wi-Fi...

“We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!”

“I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...
