We had an absolutely wonderful stay and this accommodation far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into every detail. The décor and fittings were beautifully done—stylish, high-quality, and truly luxurious while still feeling warm and welcoming. Garage parking for 2 cars was great. What really set this place apart were the thoughtful inclusions. The pantry was stocked with staples, there was a lovely selection of teas, and various other pantry items available for guests to help themselves to. These small touches made a big difference and made the stay feel incredibly comfortable and convenient.Everything was impeccably presented and very well maintained, and it genuinely felt like a home away from home—only more luxurious. We would highly recommend The Boathouse and would absolutely stay here again. Five stars! Thank you!

Everything was fabulous for our stay. From super comfortable beds, to a gorgeous well equipped kitchen, to perfect parking “The Boathouse”had it all. So pleased we found such a lovely place for our family to relax together.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for big families. Host has thought about everything a guest could need. Kids loved all the games and I enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

The Boathouse was fantastic for our group. The layout of the house is very functional and it was spotless and well presented. The kitchen has ample utensils etc and the complimentary quality teas, coffee pods, biscuits, soft drinks and bottle of sparkling wine were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Jodie kept us informed and the arrival and entry instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended and hope to stay again.

The location of the house is very convenient to the shops, beach, parks. And all the rooms are neat and tidy. Could potentially add more cooking bowls in kitchen. Convenient for parking. Very good stay and kids had fun

Overall very good however probably, on reflection, not the best fit for our group. I guess we did not understand from the info given that we would be up a whole steep flight and that was a problem for one of us. I think we thought from the info that it was split level. Also we thought "waterfront" was indeed that and were disappointed we did not look over the mariner, thought that was misleading. A couple of probs, ie the skirting boards near stove and butlers pantry fell off almost on arrival, the toaster was faulty (bad connection?) and the oven trays needed a good scrub which we gave them before leaving. Some steel wool would be useful and a couple more tea towels. We also thought that the table was rather small for the number of people that the house accommodated. This is our 16th year where we spend 3 nights away with each other, (all 76 year old school girl buddies.) Probably one of the best looking places we have stayed. Thanks for having us. Oh and parking good, got two out of three cars in!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful—stylishly designed, cozy, and incredibly clean. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining it. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed but still peaceful and relaxing. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Shell cove getaway

Great stay at shell cove. The house was amazing. Everything we needed right there. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stay in the area. Walk to shops beach and lovely wetlands walk and boardwalks. Loved it.

Did not disappoint

We, four women of mature age, loved this place and the surrounding area. We stayed for five nights, were very appreciative of all the extras provided, plenty of bathroom products (including toilet paper) tea, coffee, biscuits, cleaning products etc etc. more generous than anywhere else we’ve stayed. The property was very comfortable, quiet, great beds, parking and four TVs!!! Very clean and all mod cons. Close to all our activities. Shell Cove provides a large range of interesting activities nearby. Also very happy with the agents‘ communications. Pretty faultless actually.
