A return visit and as before very satisfied. The staff are helpful, room was really very good value and we enjoyed both our evening meal and breakfast. Definitely be back, maybe get some golf in next time.

The morning after our first night. There was one young lady having to deal with the whole breakfast service on her own. She was amazing, considering the lack of support from higher ups. All of the doors have their automation removed. Being a hotel with a more mature clientele, I spent most of my break there holding doors open. Booked a twin room through Expedia and ended up with a double. Luckily another guest in our party cancelled, so we used that room. Unfortunately my son got a knock on the door at 2300 with a stranger asking if the room was vacant!

we didn’t use the pool or spa but our impressions of the whole place were very good. staff were friendly and helpful. the one caveat was breakfast service. hard to find a cup! and the bread was of the ceiling tile variety. but otherwise the food was great. we’d stay again.

The rooms were a bit dated but the staff were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were excellent at breakfast, ensuring we had a gluten-free breakfast. The pool was great, as was the bar area, which was perfect in the evening.

What an amazing experience for a fair and reasonable price, some of the amenities were undergoing refurbishment during our stay, however the amazing staff were very accommodating for this and allowed us a discounted rate for certain things we wasn’t able to experience to the fullest. We have been to a few spas in our time, I can honestly say the temple spa treatments we received at Ufford Park were sublime Food was amazing (and I’m a very picky eater) Golf course and general vibe was so relaxed and phenomenal 100% we will be returning again in the future

Had a lovely few days and was pleased with everything, from the standard double room to the breakfast (which was included in the price). There was plenty to choose from. However the latte ran out on our third day but a jug of cold milk was available to add to the black coffee. The friendliness and helpful staff at Ufford Park Resort.are to be commended. I accessed the spa and used the jacuzzi, pool and soft sauna which added to the relaxing experience. The hot sauna was out of order. I would not have used this anyway. Good value for money. It suits my budget for a decent place to stay in Suffolk. A good location to explore nearby towns as well as Southwold beach and Aldeburgh. I would definitely recommend it and I look forward to returning.

Deluxe room excellent size and comfy bed . Bathroom did not have enough shower gel in bottle Staff lovely but out of depth with service at breakfast. Spa , only sauna and steam room in full working order . Pool and hot tub very good . Breakfast is abysmal . One coffee machine to serve all , items missing or ran out . This hotel has the bones to be really good but money needs spending and front of house staff who can support the younger staff .

I had a lovely large room with a wonderful view of the golf course. Generally the room was clean and tidy, but there were areas that looked a bit dreary. Carpet was threadbare in places. The staff I had interaction with were friendly and welcoming and very helpful.

like a student accommodation, very small and unpresentable. no staff working at 9pm, the entrance was left unstaffed so anyone can go in. room was small and dirty. restaurant kitchen closed at 9pm, stuck with no food as the only food options on takeaway apps was just one indian takeout then you will have to go to ipswich for food.

Walked in room wasn’t ready offered to sit in the bar and wait. It was like going back to the 80s Butlins style. Dated hotel nothing warm and friendly and very dated & gloomy reception area was clinical and hospital like! Walked through the bar and out of the exit. Got into car and didn’t go back. Such a shame as had booked for a surprise for my husbands birthday. So dissatisfied. People who say first impressions count well this did and disappointed! Lost the money I had paid! Have travelled so much and never walked out before!!

The hotel was generally comfortable and cosy. I enjoyed my 4-night stay but was disappointed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, including floor, tables and chairs. Only on the Monday morning did I witness a friendly, competent member of staff making an effort to improve and maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness. No matter the time of day, the restaurant floor was repeatedly found unvacuumed. In the room, the toilet bowl was clean, but the rim had not been cleaned for sometime. Overall I would return to the hotel as my stay was comfortable, but I hope the cleanliness would have been improved.

Lovely hotel Beautiful room upgrade a surprise so lovey thank you overlooking the pond & golf course. Breakfast sunday morning a nightmare no staff to assist, had to ask for cups, plates and fresh food as food was not being replenished quick enough for the amount of guests. Tables not being cleaned away lots of guests waiting around for stuff. 1 guy in the restaurant running around when others should have been more attentive and doing their job. Need more staff or Manager needs to have a word and get them moving!!

Hotel grounds are nice but it’s very dated. The spa area seemed nice but access for residents is just the pool which again needs updating. The spa is for spa guests not residents.

The room was ok but had some red dye dripped down radiator.morning staff were useless two girls chatting instead of working and no breakfast was replaced so waiting over 30 min for food and then no other items of food left

The hotel nicely situated and the staff were courteous but there were a number of small things that were disappointing. Unable to control the temperature of the room. Soap dispenser in the bathroom broken. Mattress uncomfortable. Reading lights above bed were almost useless. Only one bedside table. At breakfast the coffee machine took forever to make a cup of coffee resulting in long cues. In my opinion this hotel was not up to its four star rating and will not be recommending it to friends and family.

Nobody on reception when we arrived to check in, long wait for drinks/food in restaurant, young staff, broken sauna, check out at 11, but kids can't swim until 10, so have ti check out first.

Superior Double room was pretty good and spacious. Toilet seat (a replacement?) a little bit small for the pan😢 no semi skimmed milk sachets in the room, just full fat. Breakfast staff very pleasant but provisions not topped up quickly enough, always felt like you were taking the last of everything. Not much choice generally, for example of fruit, no grapes or oranges for example. One type of yoghurt. Frozen berries and tinned mandarin a bit on the basic side. One hot drink machine not enough for the number of people and size of restaurant (always a queue) - just having a separate water boiler would help for those just wanting tea. No muesli out on all three days we stayed, asked day 1 and got some, but couldn't be bothered the other two days. Plates for your hot breakfast were stone cold.

It was clean room with a nice view of the golf course. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very generous portions. It was good to be able to use the spa facilities included in our package. Breakfast was good with a good selection of items hot and cold. Down side was the furniture in the room was very dated and shabby. The carpet in the restaurant hadn't been cleaned from the night before, there was food still visible under the tables and on the floor generally. But we would definitely recommend it.
