This beautiful house is about as close to town as you can get, and still really private. We’re a family of four and had plenty of space. It snowed both days we spent here, which meant hiking through the snow into town two times. We’ve stayed at very modern homes in the area, and that’s also a great experience. But our kids both said this was their favorite place we’ve stayed because of its charms.

Saskia was an excellent host-so helpful & responsive and concerned about us when we were blessed with 16 inches of snow during our Christmas getaway. Her house is absolutely beautiful and cozy-and so stylishly & thoughfully decorated-I found myself saying “oh I love this” everytime I turned around. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire while we were snowed in and also appreciated the close proximity to town. We made several meals during our stay and everything we needed to cook was available. Thank you Saskia for sharing your amazing home with us. It was such a perfect trip!

Very nice and spacious house. It would’ve been nice to have a bathroom upstairs because the spiral staircase was a little awkward in the middle of the night for us older gals. Everything was neat and clean except the bathroom tile in both bathrooms needs a good scrub. It was a short walk to town and the town is adorable.

Everything was just spectacular, natural wood interior atmosphere, plenty of beds all with comfy linen. Spiral staircase to second floor bedrooms. Note: no toilet on second floor but has a lounge area with a sink. Two bathrooms on first floor. We had fire inside the first night and outside fire pit second night, enjoyed coffee on the back deck as the sun was rising. Shopping and entertainment in town was most joyful. We hope to go back again on our next adventure to Woodstock.

We really enjoyed this house! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Every morning I had coffee on the deck. Definitely my favorite spot on this property. Beautiful setting. We had more than enough space for our group of 6. There is a large dining table which accomodated 8 of us for a birthday dinner. The walk to town is easy and flat. We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time staying in this house. We love it! Very close to town. Quiet property in the woods with space from neighboring houses. The house is pretty well equipped with anything needed for your stay such as cooking, laundry, and entertainment. Owner was very responsive and communicative when needed. We hope to return again!

What a cute gem tucked away but also very close to town! House was clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had all the cooking supplies you would need and the bedrooms and bathrooms had everything needed as well! Would happily return!

Wonderful week at Woodstock

This was our second stay at this house in Woodstock, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The home is well-equipped, thoughtfully designed, and has a beautiful garden. The two separate workstations with monitors were especially helpful, as we needed to work during our stay. We love the location — it’s within walking distance to the main road with bars, restaurants, and shops, yet feels secluded and peaceful in the woods. The host is extremely responsive. We had a fantastic week — thank you!

We love the home and its proximity to Village Green and The Colony. Well-appointed kitchen and lovely deck—perfect for reading and morning coffee. Saskia, our host, was helpful and friendly.

Girls weekend! Three 49 year old college roommates meeting up for a quick weekend of laughs. Best time. The house is adorable, comfortable, cozy rustic charm but also totally modern. Enjoyed Tinker Street, dinners out and a short hike. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Space!

We were in town for a wedding with our 2 adult children. Everyone had their own bedroom and 2 full bathrooms was perfect. The location is quiet (no construction while we were there) and generously appointed with toiletries and coffee/tea supplies.If you need to cook, everything is there for you! The house is beautifully decorated and there was plenty of space to hang out. Excellent directions for your stay, easy to follow. Loved seeing the deer roam the property. I’d definitely book this home again!

Perfect week in Woodstock

We had a wonderful stay at Woodstock. The house is beautiful, well equipped, great interior and exterior design, located in the woods in a quiet location, and at the same time within short walking distance to the center of town. Very fast and solid communication with the owner. We had great time and we will be back!

Ideal Location

This adorable little house is just a short walk to Woodstock's town square while still nestled in the woods. We watched a pair of fawns from the breakfest nook window each morning while sipping coffee and even saw a blue heron.

Charming cottage w/ rustic woodsy feel; clean and inviting

We had a great time at the house. It was very clean and organized and the design was perfect for my wife, 2 daughters and me. My daughters especially loved the twin beds upstairs which allowed them to have privacy and feel like they were in their own space. Wifi and TV worked great and the AC units kept the house cool. Easy walking distance to downtown Woodstock. Hardly had to use our car. Host was easy to communicate with. We would def come back.

Perfect long weekend getaway

The home was clean and spacious. We had everything that we needed. The owner thought of every little detail, thankyou! It was also a close walk into downtown Woodstock, so we could easily grab a cup of coffee. We had a great long weekend. thank you!
