  • River Bend House está enclavada en la orilla, justo donde el río Yachats describe un recodo y desemboca en el océano Pacífico, en el pintoresco pueblecito de Yachats. El salón está rodeado de ventanas que dejan entrar mucha luz natural y ofrecen unas vistas increíbles del agua. Relájate en el sofá y observa cómo las águilas calvas de la zona cazan peces en la playa o echa un vistazo al escurridizo martín pescador sin salir de la comodidad de casa. Pasa el día haciendo senderismo por las millas de frondoso bosque que rodean la zona. La casa está a solo unos minutos del Bosque Nacional de Siuslaw / Cabo Perpetua (1,9 millas) y de Thor’s Well (2,8 millas), un precioso paraje natural que parece drenar todo el océano que lo rodea.
    Da un paseo de 3 minutos hasta «The Village» y descubre las tiendas y restaurantes de propietarios locales, un mercado de agricultores de temporada y divertidos eventos locales en el «centro» de Yachats. Puedes ir a Luna Sea Fish House y a Ona Restaurant & Lounge para disfrutar de deliciosos mariscos locales. Da un paseo para explorar las pozas de marea y sigue el impresionante sendero 804 a lo largo de la costa. Alquila un kayak en el pueblo y rema desde la playa río arriba por el río Yachats, a solo unos pasos de la casa.
    Por las tardes, relájate en la terraza y observa cómo las focas juegan entre las olas y los barcos pesqueros navegan por la costa trayendo la cena de mañana. Disfruta de una película en la pantalla plana de 54" o abre una botella de vino y contempla la puesta de sol sobre el océano.

The best view of any property I've stayed. Scenery was just incredible. Location is great. Can easily walk into town or along the Ocean Road. I would have loved to stay another few days!

Location was great. Loved all of the amenities and the view. The house was perfect for our family. The only thing that went wrong was the smoke alarm beeped the entire last night of our stay.

Neaar downtown Yachats

This house is located close to the business area of Yachats so easy to find places to dine and shop. Also, close to a nice long walk the other direction. Loved watching the early morning and early evening action on the beach in front of the house--lots of dogs having a great time!

Watching the tide roll in.

We loved the house, it worked well for a group of 5. Plenty of living space to relax and dine in. The house is very comfortable with amazing views. Also had great weather, which allowed us to sit outside and watch the tides and sunsets. 2 of our guests are from Arizona and didn't want to leave.

Beach getaway

The house was amazing. Very clean, breathtaking views of the river and ocean. House stocked with everything you would need. Friendly neighbors. Just steps from the beach. Would highly recommend. We’ll definitely return.

Wonderful destination on the beach and river!

We had a great time at Riverbend. The home was well equipped and the location was just a short walk to town and beach access. We would probably choose a place with less road noise in the future as this location is directly on the 101 but it might be a gem for another family. It has 3 distinct living spaces which was awesome and could work perfectly for 2 couples with kids.

Mesmerizing view and wonderful town

We very much enjoyed our stay. The access to the ocean and calm waters of the river emptying into the cove was just wonderful! House was fully stocked (loved there so many towels and comfy bedding) and was expertly cleaned when we arrived. Check-in was simple and contactless, and communication with the organizer was perfect! Highly recommend!!

Better Than Expected

Communication and booking process was smooth. Nikki was very responsive. The house was even better than we expected & beautifully appointed! Despite being so close to Hwy 101, one didn’t really hear the traffic noise when inside. The deck was our favorite place besides the living room with the great bank of windows overlooking a stunning view. We also loved being able to walk into town and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Ona! Beach access was easy as well.Beds were very comfortable and super fast WiFi was a big plus. Hope to stay here again, for sure!

Spectacular location and house

The view from this house is spectacular - you could sit and watch the show on the beach all day (birds, tides, waves, kayakers, kids, dogs, people...) and the house itself is a cut above with a fabulous master suite. The kids took over the upstairs and had a great time. Nice separation of quarters. I appreciate that the house is obviously cared for with the intention of facilitating an easy and comfortable stay.

This is a spectacular location! Wonderful view, super close to town. We only wished we could have stayed longer. the living room heat wasn't responding when we turned it up. We messaged the property manager on the VRBO site. Nikki from Sea-Nik Vacation Home Rentals called us back within 15 minutes to help us work through the problem. We were heading out to dinner. While we were out she contacted the homeowner, found out how to reset the heating unit, and had it toasty warm by the time we came back. When we left I forgot something at the house. She contacted me to see if we were still in the area. I wasn't, so she sent it to the next stop on my trip in a timely manner. I was happy to pay the 25 fee and postage to get it before we moved on.
