“The room was clean and beds were comfortable in the family room. The only issue was that there were no plates or cutlery which was inconvenient as we had trouble heating our food. If you are providing a microwave,then there should be plates provided too. Otherwise, the place was clean and is pet friendly.”

Exploring the house and the gardens was lovely. Being so close a visit to Yering station for a deliciou wine tasting made for another unexpected and easy to fit in activity. “Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

“Best position in Olinda, spotless room and beautiful surrounds. We couldn’t access the loft where the sitting area was as the ladder is too steep for us. The bed is a double and quite comfy. Parking was a bit difficult as our car was too big for the designated spot but we managed. All in all a lovely property and we will be happy to return.”

“We had a very pleasant stay.It was warm,clean ,well equipped kitchen and very very generous amount of breakfast provided. Communication was excellent and we got all our amenities well. “This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest. The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent.”

“It’s very dated and gives domitory style accommodation. Walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the next room and corridor. I could hear a man in an adjuscent room snore the whole night. Staff are not available onsight after-hours. I had to walk a very long way from my room to get hot water/tea and use the microwave which is in the common room, because the taps closest to me were broken. My room was full of ants and the bathroom tiles are brown with stains. Bed not so comfortable but...
