“Clean, fresh room with comfortable beds, though duvets very warm. Helpful staff. Nice area. Get there early as there is parking for 7/8 cars only. Good breakfast.Nice stay, would go back.”

“It is in a lovely location. Very convenient for visiting family nearby. Nothing is too much trouble. Plenty of dining areas. Very friendly staff who will alter the menu to suit. We will always stay here when visiting Bridgwater. This is our second stay here. ”

“We had an excellent stay however the room was not as clean as we would expect. The toilet was very stained at the bottom and the furniture had not been cleaned thoroughly. There was lots of dust. ”

“We went with our children, who are 5 and 2. The family room we stayed at was big and spacious, so was the bathroom. All beds were comfortable, and they even had a cot ready for our 2yo. The children had a blast playing at the large play area while seeing the goats and alpacas. Breakfast was included and it was pretty good. The only downside was that, even though they have wifi, we had no signal in our room, so we could only go online (wifi or otherwise) at the restaurant and common areas.”

“A few of my colleagues have stayed here over a few nights and said how lovely the owner was and he assisted when Expedia didn't send through the booking quick enough but was kind enough to put up in an upgraded room at no extra cost to ourselves - highly recommend and will definitely be using this accommodation again when my trainers are down that way.”

“Everything was great, the room, the food and the pub. The staff were friendly, polite and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast didn’t start until 8am which is a little late for a business traveller but amazing cooked to order breakfast. Will definitely come back.”

“A great quirky pub with basic but clean accommodation. Debbie was a wonderful hostess and Neville a fantastic cook. We ate in the carriage of a train which was absolutely fantastic. The food was superb. Stayed for 2 nights as we were visiting Cheddar Gorge. The locals made us feel really welcome and it was a real friendly atmosphere. Would certainly recommend the Inn for a stay.”
