  • This spacious home right in the heart of York offers its guests a tranquil escape while still providing plenty of space for a group of friends or a large family. When the sun is shining, sit out on the porch or in the sunroom to soak up some vitamin D as you sip a cup of coffee and read a good book. When mealtimes come around, the full kitchen is ready for the chef of the group to show off their skills. Or, make use of the gas grill and host a homestyle cookout.

    Heading up either set of stairs, you'll find a loft area leading to each bedroom. After an active day exploring, come home and bust out one of the many board games for a night of friendly competition or gather around the outdoor firepit for s'mores! Extra perks include central air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a seasonal outdoor shower. This home is also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friends can come along on the adventure.

    WHAT'S NEARBY
    Spend your summer lounging on Long Sands Beach, just 900 feet from your front door, or swimming in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. With it being so close, you can walk every day to the sandy shores to relax and play all summer long. Nubble Point is only two miles north of the home and offers picturesque views of the ocean and the Nubble Lighthouse. If the kids have come along for the ride, take them just over two miles to York's Wild Kingdom for a family-oriented outing looking at animals and playing in the amusement park.

Maine house

Very clean house. Short walk to beach and close drive to restaurants and breweries. Only complaint is the exposed nails in the front porch could be dangerous for small kids.

Getaway with Family Near the Beach

We had a nice time at this property. It was spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 3 to all sleep comfortably. It does sleep up to 10 people, but it would be less comfortable with 8 adults as there are 6 beds. It is close to the beach for walking and close to tourist attractions and Portsmouth, NH as well.

Family Get Together

Air conditioning worked great and it was very clean. Loved the multiple hangout spaces on different sides of the house. Wished the slats on the stair railings were closer together so that children couldn’t fit through them easily. Overall it was great experience!

♥️ Maine! Home was nice. Could have been cleaner. Had to wash all extra blankets before using as they weren’t clean. Kitchen could use more kitchenware such as coffee mugs, ice cube trays. Shower had long black hair in it before use

House was comfortable. The only improvement I could reccomend was there was some cleanup outside on the deck and yard to be done only took an hour or so but would be better if not necessary. Thanks for sharing Your home with us.

All the room!

We loved this house! It has so many living spaces which was great for kids. The Wifi and TV set-up was perfect.

Very clean, nicely decorated with plenty of room for everyone and the dog! Located an easy walk to beach, though just one house down from busy road so able to hear traffic. Gas fire pit was not working properly, we did let vacasa know.

Cute house w/ fantastic location

Many great things about this house! 10 min walk to Long Sands Beach, big outdoor seating area with a patio and fire pit, and plenty of towels. Overall size of the house was great for 10 adults, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the room with two twin beds (as photographed in this listing) actually has a double bed and a twin bed, instead of two twin beds. A few issues we had: we knew there wasn’t a dishwasher when we booked this but it was definitely difficult to keep up with all the dishes in the small sink. Kitchen was missing a lot of supplies like potholders (only had 1) and hot plates, good kitchen knives, glass baking dishes, a lighter for the fire pit. We quickly ran out of hand soap in the bathroom and paper towels and there were no extra. Also, there was no light outside in the back of the house which made it really difficult to see at night, and no garbages in the bathrooms.

Great House

This house was very clean and had a great beach vibe. The decor was beautiful. Loved how so many household items were included such as towels, linens, and kitchen utensils! The only downfall was the outside propane fire pit did not work properly. The flames were going by the attachment nozzle to the propane tank. A little scary. We shut it off and didn’t use it the rest of the stay, which was ok since it was hot out. Great house and great location for a large family to stay!!

Relaxing week

Relaxing week in York… House was perfect amount of space for our family. Very cute and clean cottage. Wish the the yard, backyard especially was maintained better and more useable for outdoor activities.

Awesome spot near the beach

Beautiful home within walking distance to long sands beach! Had issues with the heat but the owner came over promptly to help us and fix the issue. Would love to stay here again

Great for our mini vaca

We enjoyed the house very much. Loved walking to beach and short drive to Anthony’s Food Shop, Fox’s Lobster and many other area attractions. There was a trash situation and could use some small trash barrels in bathrooms and bedrooms. Otherwise, great adorable beach house with great indoor and outdoor spaces.

Great for family or group getaway

House exceeded expectations. The layout of the house was great, plenty of space for sleeping and entertainment for 10 people. Large back porch for hanging outside and neighbors were very friendly. Restaurant, bars, and beach area an easy walk away.

Cute place to stay

Cute place to stay Everything about this place is as advertised, I will just add that the ceilings on the second floor are very low, so if you’re taller, you might wanna rethink going up there. Also it is one house away from a busy street which was a lot noisier than I thought it would be. Other than that it’s terrific I’m sure you will enjoy it!

Nice girlfriend getaway

Cute house. Very Clean. Went with 6 friends and we all had a bed. 2 nice baths. The home as nice gathering areas--nice big table, living room area- deck. Hot shower. Nice towels. The house itself is in good shape. We had a great time. A few Negatives: The yard was pretty messy. Not a welcoming front---dead plants. Backyard was pretty messy too. (fallen branches no lawn). Yes- I know it is mid-May. Needs TLC. Kitchen had almost everything...(no dishwasher) NEEDS: only 1 pot holder, no hot plates. Tiny coffee cups...(NEED MUGS). need trash cans in bathrooms AND Warning---your outdoor gas fire pit does not work correctly---fire was underneath. fire hazard. Please fix that. Also- yes- you can walk to the beach...but Ridge Rd is pretty busy with no sidewalks. Overall- a "B".

Fall getaway

It was the perfect location for our family! My daughter attends UNE and it was an easy drive for her to join us. It was close to a dog park - approximately 15 minutes away. It was very clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely stay there again.
